Hp probook 4440s driver problems

hello when i try to play the remastered game i get a general failure error and because of the error log i think something is wrong with the drivers or shaders

@bitvenom i heard you might be able to help with this problem :slight_smile:

Unfortunately those errors are for valid shaders - so it is either a general driver issue, or an out-of-date driver. In any case, please see if you can get some updates from Intel/HP? I can’t rewrite every shader in the game for an unsupported (or at the very least buggy) driver…

But if memory serves, Intel HD are their onboard/basic video chips. It might not be able to put out the horsepower necessary for HWR at anything other than low video settings.

I developed much of HWRM on what is essentially an HD 4000 (a 2013 MBP), and because the card is integrated, it has a ton of fast memory to play with. Generally speaking, you should not use AA, turn off any advanced features or post processing (bloom, dual shadows, dof, motion blur, etc) - but texture quality should be able to stay high…
