Becouse adding an Option for that in the game doesn’t hurt anyone.
It’s not like there would be only games with that option enabled
Hyperspace is like… the entire point of the game. It’s the whole reason the you lost your planet in the first game. If you don’t want to play with BC’s just do Carriers only.

BC’s are not the only kind of ships in the game who makes use of hyperspace! Also we are talking about MP features, the single player doesn’t mean anything there
Anyway, i personally love BC’s, i’m talking for all the peoples who loves to play with fighters and corvettes 
I guess having the option wouldn’t be a bad thing then.
