The old Pandora, no. It’s possible they’ve completely dropped their old style in favour of the new one. Which is both a good thing and a bad thing.

One of the things I liked 2 versus 1 was the midgets that popped out of chests actually yielded pretty solid loot. In bl1 Ive yet to see anything worth while.
I feel that BL1 world drops make up for it and beyond.
When you’re max level, Loot Midgets are only of interest as one of three sources of Lv69 loot.

Absolutely. You feel like the whole world is a playground for collecting loot.

I couldn’t agree more. What brought me in to Borderlands, and gaming in general, was the wastelands of Pandora. It just had such a perfect atmosphere. At least they gave a canon reason for the diversity in BL2, the vault opening and the eridium mining.
