How would this be fair to players who paid money to play the game only to find them locked out of content that they paid for? From what I saw, everyone was happy when the original 25 characters were made available right from the start. You pay the money to get the game, you shouldn’t have to work towards getting everything. I can understand that it can be frustrating being paired with or against low-level players who don’t know what they’re doing, but it also isn’t right to block things from them that they paid for until they reach a certain level.
If you buy a new phone and the app store on the phone is locked until you’ve had the phone for a month, you’ll probably be angry. You paid money for the phone, you own the phone, but someone decided that you couldn’t even download any apps until you’ve had the phone for the month since you need to get used to the phone first. You can still use the apps that come on the phone that way you can get used to doing more than just call and text people.
You buy something and you own it, you should have full access, it’s as simple as that.
