Same idea. I cant understand the move that publishing the game with Chinese article and Voices, but on a platform that Chinese players cant even use for over Six Months

Well there goes any bother of me pre-ordering. I will buy this the second it is on Steam of course.

My total hours played in the franchise with all the DLC’s:

Borderlands 1 = 1111 <----weird total i know shrugs
Borderlands 2 = 3345
BorderlandsPS = 410

Just adding my 2 cents that the 6 months Epic exclusive is a real middle finger from 2K.
I would personally have paid $100 or more for it to come out on steam also so that us
“Consumers” would have a choice right out of the gate since that is actually competition.

This is not a rant, merely my 2 cents on what route was taken and how poorly this has all been
implemented thus far.

I love the enthusiasm but if 2K signed a contract with Epic, no petition is going to break that.

Contracts like that usually have clauses that can be used by either party to cancel the agreement if needed or warranted. If they begin feeling like moving forward and sticking with this exclusivity will lead to them following suit with other publishers/developers that recently shot themselves in the foot with a poor launch strategy or poor decisions that enraged their customer base they may be inclined to back out.

One of these issues was they were quoted before with wanting to make the game as widely available as possible from as many platforms as possible and this decision is basically the complete opposite of that.

I am not on steam but i signed anyway.

It is better for the community to experience Borderlands 3 together on 9/13 rather than 6 months later.

People are donating money for this cause! If we will get enough people we will easily change 2k’s bad decision

I like this series of games very much. I bought it in XBOX360, PS4 and PC. It turned out that I had to wait six months for a sequel, didn’t it? Why can’t we learn ORIGIN? Can’t we open a back door?

I don’t care what kind of ■■■■ business competition you have. I just want to play borderlands 3 at the start, that’s all, as a 10-year-old fan of borderlands.

Not if they signed a contract already. Guys… seriously… there are like… actual causes you can donate money to… like disaster relief, curing cancer, feeding the hungry… you know… important things that will actually make a difference…

there’s nearly 6500 signatures on that one petition. at $60 per, that’s nearly $400,000 lost revenue. In 2 days.

What about letting us activate Epic store copies on Steam afterward? If that’s an option I have no problem with the exclusivity deal.

I don’t know why you guys makes Chinese language even add Chinese dubbing in there and put it on a Gamestore who locked us out and like they keep us away form Metro Exodus,it so piss us up…
in china we have lot of fans of borderlands,if u guys do care about Chinese player, please let it on steam quickly…

This is an issue that only the publisher (2K) can address; Gearbox does not control game distribution for this title.

Sorry - I wish I could help! All I can suggest is filing a request with 2K through their contact page. Well, that and seeing if anything changes in the next month - I find it really hard to believe that 2K would not try and get pre-orders from one of the largest markets…
