Please let me know if these features are already in the game or if you agree/disagree.
Mercenary Lobbies
This is a matchmaking option you can select where the game will not match you up with anyone in a party together. This allows solo players to avoid getting destroyed by parties every game.
Pre-set Helix
Let us pre-select our Helix options before the match. Then in-game, when we level up, the game will automatically upgrade our helix based on what we planned out, so we don’t have to stop in the middle of battle, hold open the menu and read the options.

I considered the thought of pre set helix as well but imediatly shot it down in my head. Some characters have very situational skills and need to be adjusted per match. Also PvE usually requires a whole new approach and I don’t think it would be easier to have to go to the character page and adjust between game modes.

That’s why it would be optional. By default, it would be off.

They had their resources spread so thin that they aren’t even launching with matchmaking on anything above normal for PvE. Probably a lot of code for an option that may just be a nuisance to most situations.
I thought about how a pre-set Helix would work while playing today, and honestly I think it’d be a great addition to the game. I main Deande, I have her at rank 14, I’ve explored all possible Helix combinations with her, and I can honestly say having to choose the best skills in-game can be annoying. Having the option for pre-set Helix lvl ups would be nice, but it isn’t necessary, yet alone needed since you can just find a safe spot or wait until all of your foes are dead to choose your skills.

Maybe in the future but right now balance is king.
Something I’ve thought about is a vote to kick on story mode, I’ve had once or twice that someone has left when there is 5 people needed for the nodes to spawn Geoff on the algorithm mission.
I have an idea about this.
There should be the option to pre-set a favourite helix configuration, but such that in-game, you can still configure it manually if you need to, but everytime you have new skills available, you’d get a prompt to “press [whatever] to apply favourites”, so you’d have a sort of mid-battle quick select option.
That way you would have the best of both options always available.
