I donāt find I need damage resistance relics. I agree with you, Bone of the Ancients is a great choice. I personally like a stockpile or Blood of the Ancients too. Never tried the double-shot chance Seraph relic with her⦠that might be fun.
Okay, in your opinion, looking at what I have, what would you take a point from to put into scorn?

Recompense⦠Iād redistribute all those points unless youāre going for a specific Recompense combat style, but thatās where Iād start.

I like Recompense with the Rough Rider - itās one of the rewards for Maya choosing that shield for me. Even if youāre not going for that invincible-grog skit. As weāve discussed before though it stops being useful past about OP2. I would rather have Recompense than Sustenance. When I use the RR my combat is based around taking health damage though, even though Iām not holding a Grog to heal it back. I guess you could play it much more carefully, but then the Evolution might be a better choice.
Immolate works just fine with Sustenance, as this video will demonstrate. Thanks @Derch !

Dude - youāre at the bottom of the Harmony tree⦠a single point for Scorn while youāre down there is absolutely worth it.

Totally worth it!
Do you guys s go for transfusion grenade, or something with more damage?
With all the healing skills that Maya has, a Transfusion grenade is not necessary. Neither are any of the other Moxxi guns (If you use them for damage, then thatās a different story. They kick a$$!) Quasar or Storm Front are the grenades I usually use. Quasar is great for some extra crowd control.
Most players will choose any other skill over Recompense. Some will actually spec in a completely different characters skill tree just to avoid it, but obviously not everyone.
@hattieinduni Will we see the Landscaper in that build too, perhaps?

Huh, Iād never heard that. Evidently another way Iām playing badly!
(I donāt actually think of most of my Borderlands choices as especially eccentric but apparently thatās my best light). So whatās wrong with it? I remember a long discussion on a thread about damage scaling on this forum with Derch and others (including testing by Ad), my summation is it maintains usefulness up to about OP2, after which it can still manage to counter enemy health regen.
I donāt see it as a particularly valuable combat strategy but it compliments the Rough Rider shield and, as Iāve said, is a lot less wasted in a Harmony spec for that than Sustenance.
On the subject of Transfusion grenades, I would recommend having them in your backpack if youāre planing doing some extended work with that shield. Elated, Sweet Release and Life Tap are the beasts of health regen for Maya but there are times when none of those are going to be available (like some boss fights) and Sustenance wonāt give you the health you need either.
I guess I failed at being funny there! Didnāt mean to offend you. Sorry! Itās just one of my many flaws.

Thanks! Going off some bad intel it seems.

Not at all offended! I was just worried my strategy, which is mostly personal trial and error not hivemind wisdom like many on this forum have, was wrong. In which case I must adjust my future advice!

I had another thought. If youāre using a Leg Binder, itāll give you 10/5 in Sweet Release which could be considered overkill and some points could go into Mindās Eye.
Wonāt I need the points in sweet release to go down to the next tier? I could put those points into minds eye, instead though.

Could do - canāt hurt. Thatās what I end up doing (4/5 Mindās Eye). If youāre going to swap out COMās and donāt feel like re-speccing, leave it at 5/5 though.
Sorry - so much to think about, eh?
Just a bit. But Iām glad there are so many people on here that are willing to help.

Just curious: What about Leg Binder are you after here? Leg Siren, last I checked, has a much better buff to cooldown time and LOTS of other useful perks. If itās for TEAM cooldown, and your teammates prefer that over heals, then alright. Just wondering.
I donāt use ward, flicker, or minds eye. I donāt really care much for foresight. The only perk that I would like to have bonuses in would be Accelerate. Even if I respeced so I had points in minds eye, instead of sweet release. That would only be 2 perks that I want, 3 being used at all. With Leg Binder. I use all 5 abilities, so all of them are being utilized. Even thoughleg siren has the cool down, gun damage, and movement speed when phase locking. I feel like Binder would have more overall use with my character.

I love the Leg Binder - 10/5 Suspension and Wreck - Iāll take it just for that. I now use it more than any other
I am partially using it so I can get more abilities. Like putting 1 point into suspension, and 4 into KR. And one point into SR, and four into Minds Eye.

I suppose it isnāt the perfect set up. But Iām enjoying it, and it works for my play style.

Thatās all that matters in the end. A reminder though⦠Keep in mind that Accelerate affects guns with splitting projectiles.
