I still think this game released to early =/

I totally agree! It’s impossible to have a non snowballng one lane map. Yesterday we killed the other team, like 4 people twice and we still couldn’t come back because all we could do was push the minion wave slight up back to mid.

I don’t necessarily disagree with your points, but I think the game was expected to have some hiccups. I think it was released at the appropriate time, myself. It’s GBX first go at a game with this many online demands and I think they will sort stuff out.

What I’ve seen, as I mostly play Incursion vs. the other map modes, is that where people tend to fail is minion/thrall clearing. A lot of people go in like it’s death match and that can adversely affect the outcome of the game.

I will be paying more attention to the scores Win/Lose on all map modes as the weeks go on, though. Just out of curiosity .

You are obviously oblivious to the way tie-in apps for games are created. Companies like Gearbox hire other companies to create these apps and the development of the main game is not affected at all.

Yes, I have played 30 or so Incursion matches and I have been in many games in which the two teas went toe-to-toe concerning the Sentries’ health. Just about an hour ago, my team managed to win a match at 35-0.

People need to familiarise themselves with the NPCs to play more competitively. KISS, keep it simple stupid. That’s what Gearbox tried to do and they managed it. I would have also loved more models in the minions but they deemed it right to KISS. I won’t judge and neither should you. Unless of course, you are seasoned e-sports gamer or a game developer.

All games have technical issues and some also have performance issues. They will be fixed as time passes.

All right, all right, I was being reasonable up until now. But, what the actual? Are you unhappy because there are no microtransactions in the game? Are you unhappy because the game is actually skill-based and not pay-to-win? I will just pretend I did not see that point.

What if Battleborn doesn’t have comics? On one hand, the Story was never the main selling point of the game, on the other, the writers decided to tell it through live dialogue during gameplay. It’s a form of expression they decided to adopt.

From what I can understand, you just do not like the game. The game is complete, you just do not like the direction Gearbox has taken with it.

1: You didnt answer 1.

2: the people above you post just mentions the huge difference in scores and in snowballing. If your winning your almost certain to win. The few close games doesnt represent the average scores some of use or the majority of us get. Its why i only really like playing meltdown right now.

3: Its a competive game. Every small detail matters. Every competive game has a lot time not only balance the heros or gameplay. But the stages and elements in it. The thing that most pro players worry about is all over balance. Only meltdown feels balanced to me.

4: Im getting tired of games not being test enough to solve these problems before release. If i buy a dvd and one scene doesnt play i dont say “oh they will fix it.” I pay for complete products, glitchs are expected but the amount i have seen in almost week of playing is crazy. I havent seen this many bugs even in fallout 4.

5: The point im trying to make about this is why make an app app when you could have used that money for the game itself. And in the app it says gearbox made it. Even to your point Bb could have GIVEN the option to buy credit. Still up to the players to buy. Halo did it i have brought one req pack yet.

6: Then what is the focus? The story doesnt have enough depth so make you feel like they put to much effort in it. And the PVP maps and layouts and stage or gameplay flow. Doesnt feel like the spent the time to polish that either. There are more missions that PVP maps and they are bigger with more dialoge. The pvp doesnt have ranking, and comes of as casual. If they focused on something is was just making the heros cool.

I like the game, i just not in love with it. I do question the choices they made in the release and hope that the game will overall improve in game modes and performance. But its a shadow of how great the game over all could be.

But thanks for the feed back

Maybe not for you it wasn’t. The campaign was a huge let down for me. The intro and ending cut scenes were fantastic, but the missions give us 10 seconds of zooming in on a different planet with a few lines of dialogue and finished with a big blue screen saying “mission completed”? That’s cheap af. I really wish they had been more candid about this pve mode’s nature because it’s not what I’d call a story campaign. Just a bunch of very loosely tied together objectives and annoying pvp style tower defence and escort situations.

Now before anyone tried to claim that I should have been aware of this after playing the beta, I was under the impression that it was exactly that. A beta. I wasn’t expecting them to give out the mission cut scenes that would potentially spoil parts of the story. One out of two available missions was an escort, but we ended up with 4 tower defence and 2 escort missions. The only missions that are progress and beat each boss until the end are the algorithm and the sentinel. When the guys from GBX and 2k say they’re giving us a story mode, I expect a story. They should have called it pve mode and been clearer about the direction they were going with story missions

its hard to come back from 1 sentry down but it can be done i just finished a match in which we were up 100 to 4 and some of my teammates decided to stop pushing to let the clock run down and the other team started pushing very hard and got one of our sentries down and got to the second one and got it to 20 in a matter of minutes thankfully the clock did run out and we ended up winning 20 0 but damn that was epic , so the lesson here kids dont stop pushing the other team even if you think you got it in the bag lol

I am currently playing from India .

Last 50 matches of Incursion, all one sided victories. 100-0 or 100-50 due to FF. Most players just FF after the first sentry falls now. Kind of killing the game.

App are cheaper quicker easier to make i really dount battleborn was even slowed when then made this app.
Secondly yes they could give you the opintion to pay with microtrans but it casues upset no one likes pay to win even if its not pay to win
Call of duty halo these games have it and they not free to play games and everyone hates it.

Minion are their to take down the sheilds and draw fire its already bad that snipers can take down the sentry by themselves you want everyone to do that you guide minion to the sentry if you dont need them to take down the shields might as well not have them.

The reason for the score is not unbalnced its because once the sheilds are down the sentry health drops rapidly the game mode isnt perfect and they will probably fix building turrets on your side of the map you the winning team getting more minions when the first sentry is gone.

Glitches now this is a problem but their nothings can be done to have a perfect glitchless game.
Comparing it to a dvd is silly a dvd is just film place on to a disk. A game is codeing. You will never no matter how much you play a game get ever be glitch free someone will always find more and your probably the only person in that has more in this game than fallout 4 i havent had any so far.

The story is a bit lacking and i think everyone would of wanted more i agree with you there.

I don’t think pay to win would really be an issue because BB gear isn’t without its draw backs. So having better gear doesn’t mean better win. Not to mention you can already get great gear. I think Mircos would be more for the cosmetics of the game. Like maybe commander packs (which feel like the only thing i get skin/taunts from) for people to impatient to grind for them. Pay to win does sucks, but i don’t think i would be as BS in BB. But is a bleh topic.

They sniper thing does suck. I don’t play Marquis or Thorn so i didn’t know. But my friend was just telling me about it. I don’t feel like the put enough effort in balancing the maps. Its why i like meltdown if feels move balanced by comparision.

Like i said it not just the glitches. They strange thing is some of the beta glitches are still in there. In Dark Void the same enemies was getting stuck in the same box. Its the overall performance. The load time of stages that big seem strangely fast and i think it might be some of those low rez texures. If thats the case i would rather wait a good minute of loading assets for sharper textures.

Yeah, game was probably 6 months to a year before release.

If you have doubts just look at The Sabatour in comparison to The Algorithm.

:ok_hand:One has four unique bosses with scripted fight mechanics and plenty of variety, even unique encounters with standard mobs and plenty of dialogue with small variations. The pacing is great, and it’s pretty well designed.
:-1:The other has 1 boss that is a copy paste of every other Jennerit in the game with the same copy pasted mini-horde mode events as 3 other missions that don’t even seem balanced or tested properly. I say 1 boss because the first one doesn’t have a title card or trigger’s it’s own AI. I don’t think the last boss this mission has a title card either? There’s also a boss well behind the final boss as if it was supposed to continue from there (I imagine it became a robot suit nova escort) but was never finished.

Calderius, Boldur, Isic… All get their very own story mission. The entire rogue faction isn’t even mentioned ONCE afaik.

Your the only one asking to buy credits i bet most people will be against it

This game would be a definite bomb if you could purchase credits or packs with microtransactions.

Im not “asking” for it. Im saying the option doesn’t hurt the game. If buy a sandwich, just because you don’t want wheat today, doesn’t mean you won’t want it a week awhile.

Exactly. I was at work thinking about this vid on BB saying that characters were forgettable. Took me a bit but i realize that BB doesn’t really include most of the heros in it. Melka, Kleese, Galt, ISIC, Bolder, and Dande are really the only playable characters that get any exposure. Sucks when you really think about it, the story leaves a lot of plot hole. Each hero is so interesting, i would have been nice if the game gave them some kind of role in the story even if was by name.

On another note, i also noticed a trailer for BB awhile back where the Galatic Frost dude and a sentry was fighting. Where is that? In another vid Melka was saying she was “hacking” something when you was really beating and forcing the hacker to work. What happen to these?

Respectfully: How?

Maybe the game was destroyed by marketing or producers who wanted to rush the game out with less content because they felt the content was sufficient? :bread:

Even though I don’t feel it was entirely worth the money, I bought the digital deluxe edition in large part because I won’t have anything else substantial to play for a month and a half.

It’s kind of a well known fact that micro-transactions are hated and avoided like the plague in paid games. Hell, people don’t like them in in F2P games.

Plus, it would implement a very strong ‘Pay to Skip’ vibe, which many gamers DO. NOT. LIKE.

Honesrly, wanting micro-transactions in a $60 game is stupid on so many levels, no matter what way you split it.

Because it has an upfront 60 dollar cost.
Consumer outrage is when you charge a consumer for a full price game and still nickel and dime them with pay2win microtransactions.

Even if its not pay to win people still dont like. If someone gets all the legendaries becuase they bought aload of loot packs doesnt mean they going to win every game yes however it still causes that divide between players for thoose who are willing to pay and thoose who do not and since some legendaies are better than other it can be pay to win if they get the very best possible gear.
Its that idea of someone having something that can effect game play because they paid
someone can pay all the skin and taunts they want doesnt effect the game someone paids for aload of loot packs and gets some really good gear that annoys people
Also paying for loot packs is bad for the fact that its give me money for the chance to get something you might want if not to bad.
