but for some characters aren’t the choices kind of one or the other? such as whiskeys three bombs vs his MIRV…wait…9 napalm pools?! ooooooohhhhhhhhhh
I had a similar thought to this. My idea was a game mode where you would get both or all three Helix choices when you level up. I just like to think about what certain abilities would become. Like Oscar Mike’s nades on nades mixed with the napalm. Rath would be awesome because all of his fun Helixes are out shined by their other choice

another thought as well, it would be insane but if this mode were implemented i’d say a few changes
since this mode would be to explore true craziness in helixes,
the matches would need to be longer and sentry health would need a big buff for this mode…
maybe not a great idea for normal matchmaking, but if they add more options to the private matches(a rules section if you will) that would be great!

I dunno, I think “fun” should come from the ruleset changes, but not from skillset changes. When rules change at least you as a character are balanced, but when the skillset is “I can get everything!!” - it’s like a train-wreck-god-mode-or-whatever and it’s just fun for 1-2 times and it gets boring really quickly (just like using cheats in games).

Good point about sentry, but why would the matches need to be longer if you start at level ten? Oh yeah less respawn time cuz if it scaled to level you’d be hitting minutes
Well, wouldn’t it be different when everyone can get everything?

oh? STARTING at level 10, I for some reason was thinking start at level one… then MASSIVE health buff for the sentry(i’m talking double to triple its health at a MINIMUM

Yeah! Imagine being Mellka and being able to double up on great helix levels like…
…well, level 18 would be fun?

Hey, I’d love a 6 second slow over 10 seconds, two Air Stalls, 600 health, 2.25 the size of spike, and being able to have Blade Launcher bouncing around dropping behind mega slows. Ofc, nothing like double pillarstorm with double force of will shadowfury and preamble, but not bad. Oh gosh, Attikus with double the tenacity

Oh, I was too sleepy when I read it… I assumed options already picked wouldn’t be available again!

twice the size? for all we know the bonuses are multiplicative!(people think about boldur with these options!)

Good point! I was thinking about that earlier but forgot that all values in this game are multiplicative. I’ll fix it
Nah, limits aren’t fun. I want double rift network and double chaining taser with 40 battery. Wait, his shield damage helix would be ridiculous. Also, I’m assuming air stall would be two seperate uses instead of one super use, but I’m not sure. Thoughts?
This would be a great idea as like a funsies thing - difficult to program yes but definitely amazing. Nobody would be overpowered, because EVERYBODY would be overpowered.

Now for a full DPS and mobility Mellka build…

or a kleese who can slow and kill all at once while healing with extra batteries…

Nah, just stack it. Twice the batteries, twice the shield buff, one shield shot for 200% shield damage, a taser that arcs to two targets, etc. No need to slow or heal when your DPS is that high. Oh my gosh, Toby with 9 shots per charge. And… 8 second stun. You’re just dead. Gone
Holy crap, though. Thorn with the +66% damage volley with 7 arrows AND curses targets on hit, plus the Hexsanguination+Hextension curse boosts, and Wrath of the Wild bouncing around and leaving blight pools everywhere… yeesh.
How do you get the +66% damage on 7 cursing arrows? And yeah that’ll be terrifying. Huh, Ghalt might be boring with this
