Axton. I’ve been using the legendary soldier mod and can’t stand playing Maya or Zero anymore. I don’t like how Salvador has a bunch of random skills that ‘have a chance to’ do things. Axton has so much versatility and his skills do useful things like boost grenade damage, let you throw grenades in FFYL, increase reload speed, weapon swap speed (invaluable for slagging and switching to another element) and his shield skills make the bee actually useful in combat. He’s the only character I can do that with and not die constantly. If only I could get a +5 willing instead of +5 healthy on the legendary soldier. That would be sooooo much more useful.
I found a legendary cat class mod for Maya the other day. OP1 I think. I’m never going to get my siren to OP1 so I will totally trade it for a rifle heart of the ancients relic. Level doesn’t matter as long as it’s not higher than OP2. I’m maxing out there.

Most of my time spend in BL2 is as Gaige one way or another. And there’s a chance I will have a fourth one soon. I wouldn’t trade her in for any other BL2 Vault Hunter, but Krieg is a close second.
I would say Zero, my first Toon, but Maya is so close. Derch’s videos showed me how to do her right.
Four years ago this past July I tried BL2 for the first time while visiting friends. The 2 characters I tried were Salvador and Zero, with Sal being first. Considering I’ve done all parts of this game with Sal at OP8, I’d have to say it would be him…

Zer0, because I enjoy sniping in BL2 and I find his action skill most interesting to use from vault hunters. Maya’s phaselock is OP and makes aiming easy, Salvador’s action skill is a chaos, Axton’s action skill is stealing frags and not controllable, Geige’s action skill is nuisance, Krieg’s action skill makes me unable to use guns. Zer0’s action skill alone makes FPS combat more interesting.
Maya’s actually my favourite but I’ve already played her as much as all the other V’Hunters combined , so I think only using her would go stale pretty quick.
So ,
Im gonna go with Zero too , although it’s tight between him and Krieg.
If this goes for playable only, then the first spot definitely goes to everybody’s favorite meatman. I’ve been avoiding him for a really long time and that was a huge mistake. Ever since i started playing him i can’t get enough of his unique and versatile playstyle. He also perfectly clicks with my playstyle - i like to play at OP8 and K allows me to use at about any weapon thanks to BB. Or i can just go melee which is even more crazy fun.
Gaige comes close but she always seemed a bit unfinished - if that’s the right word - to me. Some of the skill synergies never made sense (some still don’t) and DT is just stupid cute little robot.
She’s the character i’ve spent the most time with, first to reach OP8 and actually “break” the game. I’ve had a lot of fun with her. So much i had to make 3 of them.
