Immune to Blind Exploit

I have just accidentally discovered an exploit which makes you immune to blind. I uncovered this due to the horrible optimization on certain maps like Outskirts and Coldsnap, which I believe is due to PhysX/poor optimization for AMD (I run a 7870).

I will not explain how I did this (I hope a moderator can point me in the right direction in terms of reporting this), however I would be surprised if I was the first person to uncover this (did a quick search and couldn’t find anything). Suffice to say that anyone with similar framerate issues (which is many players) with a little bit of googling could also stumble upon this exploit. I suspect that due to the state of the game, most people with framerate issues simply stopped playing. I however, enjoy this game a lot, despite its many flaws, so I hope a Gearbox rep can help me out here.

I’m honestly shocked that the terrible optimization still has not been addressed, and while not gamebreaking, it’s still not fair to other players that this exists (I’m also surprised something this simple was overlooked by GB, but I guess that’s what happens when a dev takes on a real multiplayer game for the first time).

I would ping @JoeKGBX (which I just did so you don’t need to now) and get him to pass this along to the appropriate people. You may have to send the info in PMs but I’ll let you guys sort all of that out. Even if it’s not common it’s still something they’ll probably want to look into.

Still no response. Glad this is being taken seriously.

To clarify, this exploit allows you to ignore blind effects in PvP. It may be a relatively minor issues, but it does mess with the balance/fairness of the game (specifically for Caldarius).

Have you put in a support ticket? Idk where to go to do that but ik that Gearbox is great at responding to this.
