Mildly. I actually dislike doing it that way because it feels a little like cheating, but laziness wins the day when I want to update my Bone relics. It’s actually why I do the Thousand Cuts thing more often these days. But it keeps me from being face humped by rabid skags and stalkers on my way to something more reliable, so I deal with the dirty feeling and take a long shower afterward.

I do too.
But then I fall into the other trap. I’m cruising around Thousand Cuts opening up boxes, kinda on autopilot clicking on everything since there’s nothing to worry about, daydreaming, then poof a LLM pops out and startles the heck out of me

That one I usually ignore, since if I’m going in there I’m also going to start from the beginning and look for Tubbies along the way. I’ll have Doctor’s Orders active for the box room, and I just recently learned that the hanging pod-thingys can also produce Loot Midgets at times when shot; now that I think about it, that would explain where this guy came from (this happened a few years ago and I never made the connection until now)…

I had Maya’s phaselock nova set off one in the stalker ‘pit’ outside the box room building. When I came out, there as an LLM fighting the stalkers… Got a legendary out of that!

Besides the wildlife preserve and thousand cuts, there’s an super easy LLM farm in the Dahl Abandon in the new DLC. You do have to leave the mission Space Cowboy open for this one. But while it’s active, there’s a guaranteed spawn from the outhouse where you get one of the magazines. Just save-quit after killing the LLM, and you can repeat it to your heart’s content. This is the most efficient LLM farm in the game now imo, it’s seconds away from a fast travel. He never even spawns with a shield. Video for reference.
