One thing I noted which can be frustrating : some people get sooner than others to the character list during selection.

While I get that it’s just simpler and more reliable code-wise, it’s also quite frustrating. I often end up the first in the actual char select lobby, with the characters list taking forever to load. I then see people appearing left and right, and soon enough characters being locked. Then at last do I get the char list and can I cast a choice.

Needless to say this is annoying as sometimes, I just can’t get the characterS I’d like to play.

Now keep in mind this isn’t really the “someone took it before I did” issue that typically plagues PUG multiplayer in MOBAs, it really is the fact I wasn’t even able to see the list before half the team had already chose their own champion.

Should I move the game installation on my SSD to improve loading times? Maybe it will help, but then again it will just move the issue to someone else, not really fix it.

Yes, if you have SSD, move the game there. I did that and I’m usually one of the first players to choose a battleborn.
