Hey all, I was wandering.

will there be instanced loot in split screen co op? I haven’t read up much about the game cause I want all the nice suprises, but I am planning to do a split screen playthrough with my housemate when it comes out. so I want to know if the loot is gonna be first come first serve.

I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work in local split-screen.

My understanding is that the host can toggle instanced loot on/off. Since both local players would still have to sign in under their own accounts and player 1 would still be designated as ‘host’, I believe this should still be possible.

My understanding is that the loot one person sees on their screen is different for another. Idk if that would still apply during split screen like it does with online. If it does then even better experience
