Is 'Advanced' Story doable with a random group?

I’ve played few Story missions - usually random groups are half-and-half successful in my experience.

Is the Advanced Story missions even really approachable with random groups?

Yes it’s how I got Ghalt. Hopefully if they are above lvl 5

It’s still about half-and-half with randoms. It really depends on if you have smart players that you were matched up with, or Leeroys.

I doubt it is doable. I tried with one group, and we went thru 5 lives before the first boss in Algo…yeah not good.

I got almost all advanced missions on gold (two silver I think) playing only with randoms and no comms (I don’t use voip, maybe some of the others did IDK)
