So, game is released and no any signs of Linux support. Should we expect Linux support in nearest future?

Any chance of BB on IOS…?
highly doubtful. It would have to be a completely different game, built from the ground up for crapple devices.
Yeah, come on, Gearbox. Weren’t we over this already?
I was actually just about to buy the game when I realized there were no Linux version, which had me quite surprised. I thought Gearbox was one of the Linux-friendly companies out there.
Not that I think it makes any difference, but as long as it’s not available on Linux, I have no interest in buying the game. I’ve had it up to here hand flat to chin with Wine/PlayOnLinux. It’s just a dirty experience, and I won’t subject myself to it with modern games (mass cudos to the people that have worked on Wine/PlayOnLinux, though. They are awesome). :p
Just realised this thread is over a year old and no official response anywhere. Haven’t seen on FAQs, on twitter, official website, nothing… @JoeKGBX I saw you mention on another thread tagging helps so… does Gearbox actually have a stance on this? It is pretty disheartening to see you guys breaking the streak of Linux support. This is one area I only expected GBX to move forward on.
There has been zero information on a GNU/Linux port since last year. There is also nothing on the steam forums either.
It’s almost two months since the last reply, sounds like it’s time for a bump.
I’m still waiting, guise. Where mah Linux installer?
Doesn’t look likely. But you never know, bl2 hit Linux when tps was released.
It’s pretty sad, really. With BL2 and TPS they were on the right track with this. It’d be very disappointing if they stuck with the inferior platform this time around
Eh, I keep Windows solely for games. Everything else is on Linux.
It IS the superior operating system by quite the wide margin. The fact that people still cling to the horrors of DX and VC (such pain, such suffering) is pretty sad. Even for gaming the number of titles not available on Linux is decreasing and Gearbox was part of this victory by the gaming community.
However they now seem to have taken a step back which is really sad. Still hoping they fix this and get back on track. Battleborn has been the only reason I boot Windows for the last couple months or so. I’d love to go back to not “having” to do it
I have a number of programs that, while not often used, absolutely refuse to run under Linux.
