I switched between Fl4k/Zane. My buddies who had Moze char celebrated they could keep up finally.

It was fun, it was a challenge. That is my opinion.

And no not M4 was for everyone, but I liked hoping in matchmaking on M4 and not being stuck with a group of kids yelling in the mic. Most of them wouldn’t go past M3.

I liked having a huge variety of useful weapons gear at the highest difficulty.

There is a lot of sourness that came after M2.0 in April with gear, skills, broken promises, forced modifiers, untested visual pollution. You can be pro M2.0 all you want, but it was also the reason a lot of people quit. Seems subjective, but from my friends list, it was not.

Have not had one friend go back and even recommend everyone else to play again, in fact it is the opposite. That is pretty sad.

here is the thing
i do think some changes coming next big patch in 2 days are good, like we should have gotten ALL of dlc 6 1 year ago as a big free update instead of guardian takedown

a raidboss, actually cut base game content, annoint reroll, and alot of other stuff

1 year ago, its 1 year to late for most ppl, and i am sure this is it for the game, if we hear nothing from them in the next 3-4 months then the game is dead
im talking a new dlc or a NEW event, or a new takedown

many things are still missing and or poorly implemented
the game has so many bugs and problems nobody fking fixes that rly i think the game is doomed

the only good thing you could consider comes from these things is the possebility that bl4 will have all of these things day 1

The way things have been handled this time around I wouldn’t get my hopes up for things to be turned around with BL4 in the least. Also I learned my lesson this time around and will let others be the full price testers.

its bit to late i think also they need to fix other bugs/glitches first also , as i like the idea with eridium but at this stage it doesnt make me want play again instantly as game is still dry and bland endgame also once you done everything onetime at least, i would liked this if this update was made faster and didnt take year or more to come out as i been enjoying cyberpunk more and in latest cyberpunk patch 1.2 they actually fixed main game bugs/issues mostly within fast time which gear box should done with with bl3 like year ago but now gearbox are kinda cheap sell out’s to me as money comes first then actual player base.

after bl3 i dont think i would even buy bl4 with how poorly they handled bl3 and they probly do other crap main story with ava in bl4 and ava as character in whole puts me off bl3 as she has same type persona as captain marvel who has stupid ego.

i have convinced 4 ppl to purchase bl3 on release
i regretted all of them and wont do it again ever
on release and 3 - 6 months after release of the next game i will watch it

if the game after 6 months does a mayhem 2.0 its dead to me
and if its clear it needs a mayhem 2.0 im out too

the next game has to nail it or i wait till the full game plus all dlc is in sale for 10-20 bucks, so 1 year later

no other way

@mikec459 Like yourself I have been enjoying Cyberpunk, albeit they released it in pretty poor state to say the least. Within a week of release though they released a fix for console crashes and acknowledged issues the game has and they just released a massive patch to the game only a few months from release. GBX on the other hand…well yeah.

@Gadriel I helped steer a few of my friends that played BL1, BL2 together away from BL3, told them the problems I was having and that the matchmaking/split screen are pathetic. So glad I saved them a few bucks. With that said the money I didn’t spend on Season Pass 2 was put toward Outriders (nope, didn’t preorder though, GBX taught me a good lesson on that) and so far enjoying that game with others, yeah there are some issues with it but it is a new IP and just came out. Also they released a demo which is a rarity in the console business now days and enjoyed that.

its rly sad how bad most games launch these days
its so extreme that the release version and what is the patched version a year later arent the same game
if i take my ps4 bl3 disc and play it unpatched vs the live version its 100% a different better version ( minus the hard crashes( which makes me ask, would an unpatched version of bl3 on ps5 run rly good still))

its funny how bl2 has since its inception TILL NOW where it is directly against bl3 still performing better
havin 11-12k players while bl3 slowly dies out to 7k players at the same time

it shows that ppl do enjoy bl2 way more then bl3, not even a big conversation, its just fact

Sadly as I have said elsewhere we have no one to blame but ourselves for Day 1 purchases/pre-orders. The mindset of companies now days is release now and possibly fix later and until it starts to hit the bottom line nothing is going to change.

I watched both charts and you got both backwards.

BL3 is the one with peaks at 11-12k players a month while BL2 struggles to reach 7k as of right now. This is also obviously not taking into account the playerbase of Epic, where the game launched with more than twice the size peak of BL2, so we can’t evaluate how it’s currently doing because we don’t have EGS data.

Look, I think it’s perfectly fine to like a game more than another, that’s every person’s right. But let’s not be disingenuous about the information presented and the lack of data. BL2 vs BL3 is also not really the topic of this thread. Both have their strengths and weaknesses and neither of those games are perfect.

I haven’t loaded up BL3 in about 3 months since I feel like there isn’t anything else to do. I can’t reset DLC 1-3 progress to replay them. Not really interested in GTD or the trials.

I am actually nearly ready to come back; once SP2 drops in price further to $10 or $15 then I will bite, just for something to do (don’t care about the vault cards though). The price has already dropped in the PlayStation store from $30 to $20. I can wait it out.

though that being said (even though i dont play bl3 and havent for months now as game doesnt interest me) i would said bl3 is least bit better then avengers game they recently did as that game is actually let down gameplay wise and story wise all around and more money grabber then gearbox is.

i wouldnt call gearbox moneygrabbers and borderlands is ultimately a great game every time
these guys just…arent really into balancing^^

they are to some extent money grabber’s as the new tree’s should been free content if anything and not hidden behind a payed wall, and season 2 pass so far isnt worth picking up for what they offer you as nobody is talking about how great new gamemode was for new items as most hated the gamemode for getting newer items as got boring/bland way to fast.
