Is there a way to report a team?

Hear me out, I was trying my best in the match. However I noticed that the Oscar Mike and Caldarius and Thorn on our team were going to this one spot on the incursion map Overgrowth where the giant crystal spawns on in the middle of the map. These 3 players would go there and fight a little bit, but they wouldn’t move from that one spot the whole match and when they get killed, they go right back to that same spot again and again, they were basically feeding the other team kills, by the time i left they were down 13, 7 and 19 deaths each and only one of them got 1 kill. So i dont know if this is a thing or not, but is there away to report people who do this?

What were their CRs? Perhaps they were new to the game, new to PvP, or just not very good at the game and don’t entirely understand Incursion tactics?

Unless you’re certain that they were deliberately feeding, it’s unfair to report them. I’ve seen players with over 20 deaths do very poorly but it wasn’t deliberate they just weren’t very good and faced good players on the opposing team. It’s unfortunate when they’re on your team, but it happens.

Well they were all Level 100’s but the team that was killing them were bearly level 5 though 20.

What platform? I’m on PS4. Recently I was on a team of 100s that never left the first sentry. We were fighting a team of 10s.

So the level 100’s were not pushing their fullest potential against a group of lowbies? Sounds like a pretty stand-up bunch, if you ask me. Better to give the lowbies a “fighting” chance than an outright roflstomp if they are new to the game, just for population and game longevity reasons. No need to get the new players frustrated and quit the game outright. Wish more people could understand this, but whatever. Their almighty ego needs to feed, and what better nourishment than the tears of the “Newborns”

They were all friends not to mention that there is a high chance that they were boosting.

For what purpose? Its an OM, Cal, and thorn. Unless the person killing them repeatedly was a WF, I’m not seeing the reason you came to that conclusion.

That said, sometimes I can be a baby if the map I want continues to be voted against (seriously, play something other than Overgrowth/Paradise) and I will pick Ambra just for the off-chance that a Gal or Al will be on the other team. I’ll play competitively against all other players, but if I run across them, it’s taunt city so they can kill me.

Well as you know, you there are lore challenges not to mention that you unlock more characters as you level up…

And the community majority all agree that PvP Lore challenges were a horrible, bad bad idea. That said, if they want to boost, have at it. There are those communities out there, and there is nothing that can be done about it because you can’t prove any foul play is involved.

Maybe once Gearbox comes around to releasing this major update patch that tweaks the lore challenges, things can die down a bit. Until then, it was just one match. If it happens again, just don’t requeue with them.

You mean just up and leave.

So much THIS that it hurts!

There’s a saying that my late ex-wife used to use a lot: “You catch more flies with honey, than with vinegar.” That is, the nice-guy stuff is more likely to keep people around than is the tough-guy crap. “LOL GIT GUD SCRUBZ” does not exactly present an inviting situation for the new dudes. So if these guys had the kid gloves on, then I say give 'em a shout out for being a class act. They could have just ROFLstomped, then come here to the forum to complain about how so many people suck at this game…

And WHEN (not IF, but WHEN) you’re on their level, remember that too. If you’re PUGstomping some newbs back into their own base, back off and give 'em some breathing room, and Hell, maybe even some encouragement. Don’t throw the match, of course, and be sure to protect your Elo, but if it’s that bad then I’m sure you can do both without much problem…

No, I don’t mean “up and leave”, because you will only be hurting yourself at that point, having to wait until that match is over until you can play anything else again. Just stick through, every character has lore that can be completed in both pve and pvp, go lone wolf and work on them until match is over. What I mean by not requeueing with them, is when the playlist is refreshing, drop from the group and launch the playlist again so you can get with other players.

Funny story, you mention not throwing the match, I had a team where we kinda did just that. We were massacring them, so we backed off, split up, just to make things a little more competitive. Well, wouldn’t you have it the opposing team found their stride and proceeded to really give us a run for our money, and we were a little late to try and get back into it. It was humorous and frustrating at the same time, but at the end of the day whatcha gonna do?

This game doesn’t flaunt your K/D ratio out to everybody, which is why, in my opinion, I’m enjoying the PvP aspect of the game more then I have in Destiny, CoD, Battlefield etc. I do wish kills weren’t scored as heavily, but I can live with it.

Exactly except I don’t feed them but I usually go as a weaker character or someone that I never tried yet and go easy on them to give them a chance. Of course if they taunt me then that’s another story…

I’ll accept a taunt after they kill me if they have one of the loot pack taunts. I actually appreciate it! It might give me something to strive for and get. Do it repeatedly, or with a normal taunt? Kid gloves are coming off!
