ISACS infinite ultimate

They really need to change ISAC’s ultimate, it has an infinite duration and does extremely high damage over time. Ex: on story mode, against bosses, can solo in a 5 person group while taking no damage (with the shield) but capable of killing the boss’ within 5 minutes.

Ahem, on point, pve is in a weird place right now as melee characters are definitely disadvantaged to ranged characters in pve. ISIC’s ult is fine in pvp so . . . it might be best to leave it as is for pve. Or, maybe change how it works in pve only. That might get too confusing though. Point being, pve is fun but right now not as well balanced as pvp (Galilea and Ambra being the obvious sore spots for pvp, but I hear they’re going to be nerfed).

It’s infinite in PVP too though, and it only takes 3-4 shots to kill an enemy player no matter the range.

Also it is super easy to knock him out of it. Nothing is more irritating then using ult and immidiatly being stunned or pushed back and it dropping before you fire a single round…

I didn’t know the default melee did this. That’s a pretty big deal since just anyone can ruin his ult if they aren’t intimidated by it.

I want to add that not being able to taunt while the ult is up is a huge tradeoff to using his sentry mode. Most of my ISIC ults end just so I can taunt enemies.

That and what Tokesy97 says about his abilities being disabled. The self-slow and lack of Wards makes him a sitting duck, and enemies with enough mobility can definitely outmaneuver his attacks in this mode to take him out once his shield is down.

I could not disagree more. Isac takes a HUGE movement penalty for being in his ultimate, as well as he can be taken out of it by ANY stun or silence ability. You should really try him out before crying on the forums “oh he is so rigged!”
Most people actually think he needs a major buff.

I play him almost exclusively and think he is fine as is, but in more competitive play he might need a defense against heroes who can do ranged stuns on short cooldowns.

Another post about ISIC’s ult? yeesh.
My boi’s ult is fine. It’s great in PvE against bosses, so what? You want to sit there attacking a bullet sponge for longer then needed? It’s not like the ult melts the bosses :stuck_out_tongue:
In PvP, it cannot take on a 5 person team, even with the shield. I hardly even use it in PvP since it’s not about kills, but about the objective. You do a lot more for your team when you are actually with them, but if you keep your ultimate out, you ain’t going anywhere and is just a huge target that people can poke at from safe distances.
