Isic gets jacked

This is terrible wrong. Isic cannot 100:0 you in 2 seconds, even in turret mode that would be hard, and he cant stun you while hes in turret mode. Even if he took plasma orbs and charged in on you with them up.
Axe Toss cannot do 850 damage. Ever. Not with all the skill damage gear in the game undo any circumstances or conditions, thats DOUBLE what it can do at best. His DPS is good, at level 10, until then, not as good. He gets a 7hp regen helix (instead of 18% damage) and another for 14hp regen during rage (instead of mobility or survivability)
But yeah saying you took 850 damage from axe toss is nonsense.

Not a nonsense as i saw that in the death log multiple times… the first time there was a reyna and ambra so with the debuff it was ok but the other times there were no character that can debuff…

So yes it’s possible, just don’t know how

So what is ISIC now? They took away his tanking capabilities and nerfing his damage and CC. I don’t main ISIC but I could imagine the frustration from some of the players. IF they wanted to nerf stuns, they should have nerfed the Ghalts and Gali, both have easily the easiest stun in the game to land which are still two seconds.

Have you played isic at all? He has a stupidly large crit spot that’s very vulnerable when he’s in his turret mode his movement speed and jump are supremely slow and he doesn’t have a perma slow…

Means you have never played him well enough or against/with a good one. Because his perma slow isn’t hard to do

Its not possible, death logs can be inaccurate. Even stacking priority mark and ambras weakness it wont do 850 damage, especially since it cannot crit, but the fact that you even mention Ambra and Reyna renders your complaint pointless since ANYTHING will do a lot more damage when under the influence of multiple vulnerabilities, thats not Boldurs fault at all. This would require more than 100% skill damage modification to do 850 damage. Whats possible is you took more than one axe toss in your lifetime, in the same way that Oscar Mike does not do 1000 damage per bullet. He just shot you more than once.
@Xelaris96 Considering ISIC is still top tier im sure they wont mind that much. ISICS stun was an AoE that could hit an entire team and you cant really dodge a teleporting train-sized hit box, unlike ghalt and gal who can only screw one person at a time. Kelvin got the same treatment.

He’s still easy as hell to kill if I’m getting slowed by him I could easily cc him and run or kill him with boldur or ghalt or Caldarius

No one should have a AoE stun, I am, looking at El Dragon who has one thats a AoE that covers a wide range but also does damage but I never saw Isic as top tier, he was never an issue for me and my friends. These nerfs really are bringing him down especially removing the slow, they could have gave it a small cool down or something.

He was top tier as far as the competitive scene goes, because hes an amazing hero and always has been.
El Dragon can only AoE stun when he uses his ultimate, and you can see it coming because his hands are on fire after hes used his ultimate.

What Boldur really needs are changes to some of his helix choices. Axe ricochet being the most useless. They could just make it so that the axe still returns even with RoP up. But I’d rather see it replaced with something that compliments rage, like increased duration or increased attack speed. Something like that. There really is no reason to choose it over the overshield anyway since picking the axe back up for the most part is effortless since you’ll almost always be running to it after you throw it at someone, unless you threw it to get some extra movement speed to get away.

I highly doubt it but maybe the damage of axe toss also benefits from axe mastery? If so, I could maybe see a Boldur doing over 800 damage by himself.

He was in vanilla but now It seems very skeptical if he’s even going to be a viable choice to pick now. but ill hold off until tomorrow to make that decision.

Yeah. I’m glad I’ve already mastered him.

Can’t see myself playing him in his current configuration.

I find the post title very misleading and there’s dissapointing lack of rule /34/ in this thread.

Nah mastery only applies to melee hits. I’d love a full axe-toss build, get a more serious cool-down reduction helix, like if you hit an enemy it refreshes the cooldown. Honestly it barely hits harder than a melee swing, it’d still be a lower dps alternative.
I suggested in the past that the axe gets stuck in a target and when boldur punches that target he recovers the axe and it does bonus damage. Big bonus damage

It’s fine on any gunner that aims. OM is a bit different because you can skip his tier 3 upgrade and get that sweet ass auto aim from god.

Heh. I just imagined Boldur’s axe stuck in ISIC’s face.

He actually did. With a Miko, I was able to force a team back with Omega Strike. It snowballed into an almost instant victory as we were able to walk up on their sentry. Also, it will significantly decrease ISICs back door potential.

Also, I feel that the wound is a buff over slow. Reduces healing received by 60%. (or is it 40%?) Anyway, it will allow for ISIC to debuff a Montana with a pocket Miko.

I must be one of the few ISIC players that was not only expecting this nerf, but also think it was justified. He is easily one of my top 3 picks for incursion, he’s the one that got me my unbreakable title quickly, and the one I’m sure is the biggest nuisance on the battlefield. He is a minion eatin, battleborn stunnin, constant slowin, turreting son of a gun who when played right, just…won’t…die!

Seriously, with how I played Isic, these changes will not deter me from continuing the carnage. That stun will still stop a spinning Rath, a Galilea on a rampage, a Montana that thinks freezing/burning/hulking on my team is good sportsmanship, and still more than likely scare ol’ Marquis out of his balcony. Dear Change, I welcome you!
