ISIC Has Really Grown On Me In PVP

So, like every other Battleborn I didn’t get at first and never, ever thought I’d get good with, I took ISIC from 1.85 up to 8 tiday and man, once you learn his intricacies (which I still need to vastly improve on but I feel like I’ve got a decent command of his fundamentals now) he can be a very adaptive, multifaceted powerhouse of a character.

I’m learning to retreat and teleport when me necessary, cycling his Rotating Wards and Energy Aegis, overcharging all my abilities and shot (his Ultimate Canon mode gets a freaking Overshield when you Overcharge activate it) and Plasma Dashing through busy weakened lanes and then savaging them from behind, man, he can just wreak havoc.

You DEFINITELY get focus fired (and focus melee’d!) a lot, and I’ve died more than I’ve become accustomed to, but, man, when you have a team that knows how to work with you and suooort you, it’s awesome.

Nothing better than having a Miko focus healing you going into turret mode and just blowing everything in front of you into tiny pieces as you match inexorably at their sentry with an Orendi, Galilea, and Caldy keeping enemies off you.

Had a few EXCELLENT games as him.

I actually think he’ll be the next one I master.

I am very surprised!

lol oh there’s more!

But yeah glad you agree with my post!

Each Battleborn is awesome in their own way!

Remember with ISIC “Entropy is bliss”

I will pay someone in Battleborn credits to find and edit my typos as I create my post!

I shall post an ad on kleeseslist.com !

He should be a lot easier now that GBX has lowered the lore requirements. I got his lore before they did and the Octoban (sp?) mining report was the worst…

Anyway, he’s also a lot of fun to play in PVE because of his dialog and you can really go crazy with gear due to how many shards you can generally gain during a mission.

I’m game for typo editing

If you ever get the chance, use the level 10 helix to fire rockets and attack a sentry in siege mode while standing next to an Ernest attack speed egg.
Holy crap… all I can say. Absolutely melts them.

I played him a couple times. Hated every second of it. He doesn’t interest me as a character and I can only see playing him as a burden to myself and the unfortunates that I get matched up in a game with…the same as Toby…

At this point in the game, I’m pretty high in levels with everyone except for those 2 guys. And almost all lores done for everyone else. I’ll likely stop playing before I get to the point where they are the only 2 left.

@Masterblizak

ISIC and Toby were literally the 2 characters I honestly thought I would never, ever get good / proficient with.

But now I have them both almost matsrted and they are actually 2 of the characters I’m stronger with!

I can understand the small thing that isic provides. Toby on the other hand, he’s pretty much worthless. He will be until he gets his shield fixed or helix.

Double Mine Toby is 1000% better then regular Toby, it’s day and night pretty much how good Double Stun Toby is to a team compared to the gimped state regular Toby is. Doesn’t help that Overgrowth hurts him hard., hell Overgrowth is the map where the games balance goes out of wack in that map specifically.

What do you mean about character balance and overgrowth? As far as I feel I think overgrowth is the more balanced map imo out of the other 2 (monuments is definetly fun but still feels kinda meh) that being said I still see flaws in all 3

Regular “gimped” Toby >>> Double stun Toby every. single. time.

There’s too much hype behind the helix/gear combo.

Toby is worth his weight in gold when played well, especially on Overgrowth.

So much misinformation, please take my word for it.
