ok so me and friends were on the 4th story map or 5th? the one where you go kill the eldrid sentinel/ 40 mins into the map we drop like flies because steam is down.
very frustrating. can there be a fail safe to prevent us dropping like that steam was only down for less than a minute and we lost all that progress D:
Didn’t happen to me tonight but there is a fresh long thread in the Steam forums being updated by a lot of players who are very angry. (I’m in the Cherokee Mtns and connect via Atlanta)
the only good thing out of this i went to match history on found we did get loot still for that disconnect
this happened again today when one friend had a steam maintence for his area only and we got disconnected
I had this issue, too. Steam went offline and threw everybody out of the match, all progress lost. As steam disconnects people often for server maintenance, the game needs to replace the players with a bot and wait for reconnect, similar to how CS:GO does.
