The Badaboom is better in almost every way. The Berrigan has less damage, basically the same accuracy, slower firerate b/c the Berrigan is burst fire and has a fixed burst delay, no luneshine, and 50% less mag size. The only way it wins is a faster reload speed.
Its spread is more manageable than the Badaboom’s though, considering that the whole burst follows each other without deviating. And while it shoots in 3 round bursts it is still fully automatic. Besides, in FFYL you want that reload speed.
Personally don’t see any use in Luneshine except for the crit bonus so…
At close range the spread is basically the same, at looong range the Berrigan wins. The Berrigan has a 6 round burst, and it is semi-automatic. And if you need more than 9 rockets to get out of FFYL… .Luneshine is just another option the Berrigan can’t have, more shield, shield regen on kill…

Yea mareks mouth can drop with a unique lunshine. But im not sure if it actually changes anything the gun does.

From my udnerstanding, the Lunshine is dummied out.
The effect it was supposed to give comes with the barrel anyway.
can you elaborate on the effect? I have no idea what makes this weapon unique other than the red text. a corrosive fast talker would probably be better. I just hope I’m missing something here. Otherwise this SMG was a needless farm. LOL
Random chance to apply dots from the other elements.
Is this verified? I unloaded two full clips(156 mag). so over 300 rounds and nothing but corrosion. That’s some bad RNG if the random other elements is true.
Chance for it to happen is way lower than it should. I had it happen a few times but only when actually using it against enemies. Marek’s Mouth is a curiosity at best since most enemies resist corrosive. Outside that, the only other thing it has going for is the absurdly huge mag compared to other Scav items.
took the words right out of my mouth. LOL Well put. I was about to ask if you could visibly see the effect or if it had to be applied to an enemy to get the DOT effect. I should have unloaded two clips on enemies I guess. LOL Thank you for your help.
Would’ve been more interesting if it was non-elemental with chance to apply random dots. No real downsides and a bonus when DOT does kick in.

Yea i got one with the lunshine on it. But it still does the same thing as the regular. Unless im missing something and it does have some effect.
Did some Sentinel runs with Nisha in TVHM, as I had reset my UVHM playthrough to try and get to lvl70.
