News just came out of an incoming Borderlands film, gearbox confirms.

Video game movies have never worked well I have little faith that this will buck the trend. However if they go all Mad Max on it this could potentially be the combo breaker.

I think that, despite the questionable track record for this, video games are very fertile ground for making wonderful movies. I do hope that this turns out well.

how they handle the loot system will make or break the movie.
