I just took my Jakob’s Moze through the Maliwan True Takedown… I will say it was a challenge… But it was very fun! I used an Infernal Wish, Company Man, CMT, and a Bloodstained Trickshot. I also use urad and the Bloodletter, but I’m going to try it with a mind sweeper next… I’ll get a video when I get a good enough run. The Trickshot is a fantastic pistol.
Trickshot with Some for the Road is great and also kinda hilarious.
@johnrr6 I am toying around right now with all the different applications of the Infernal Wish - it’s kind of my pet shield at the moment. The Infernal Wish really helps single-pellet Jakobs weapons like the Ionic Disruptor, Clairvoyance, and it even helps multi-pellet weapons like the Skullmasher and Hellwalker (not that either of those needed any help). Trickshot would probably be fun with it too along with SFTR like @ucfmatt suggested. The shield essentially allows you to double your damage through the extra pellet feature. Worth trying.
I was kind of thinking about doing something with a bloodletter, infernal wish and the Lunacy Artifact doubles the shield size but increases the delay. But since the delay is only 1.6 seconds not sure that it means a darn thing. And the longer that shield still has any charge… the more the special effect lasts.
Tried a Bloodletter with Phalanx a Doctrine and a super soldier and oh my! Folks are absolutely correct, that thing is a huge glitch! You run so fast you fall off things easily and your weapons turn into a buzz saw.
Fun for About 10 minutes but so broken…
Shush! If Noelle hears about this, it’ll get nerfed.
I wonder if the One Pump Chump would be any good with the Infernal Wish? Infernal Wish makes so many underpowered weapons usable and fun.
The one pump chump is pretty awesome using a infernal wish on my urad 3 shot fade away flak. Also loving the queens/kings call. Even the stonethrower works pretty good. Sorry not really sure how good for moze these would be though
Was relatively easy… You do need some good rolled gear, though… But the Trickshot is one impressive pistol.
EDIT: last upload quit on me… will be up soon
Totally agree, want to make it work but it just doesn’t. Seems like the mutant should be great with its fire rate, but it’s still lackluster.
Don’t bother with a lunacy it’s not needed.
I’m currently running Infernal Wish with:
URad corrosive kickcharger
Urad corrosive boogeyman
Urad corrosive Hornet
Urad corrosive complex root
Corrosive cloning hunter seeker
Radiation Stone commander planetoid
w/ AOE, mag size and incendiary damage
(Bonus eridium on anointed enemy and eridium pile smash)
Bloodletter with four points in PD
And a splash passive
(The others are Dahl crit and accuracy)
Skills:
Red tree
RHS skills upto 3 points in sacrificing health for shields
Purple tree
Big surplus x3
No further than Fired up, taking a mix of movespeed, health regen and status chance skills
Blue tree
All the way to Short Fuse taking only damage and ammo regen skills and two points in Vampyr
Green tree
Upto scorching RPMs making sure to have 1 point in Rushin offensive. And 1 point in scrappy.
Iron cub gets electric railguns because sabots aren’t worth sacrificing for and since our main weapons are corrosive, a different status effect type for the purple tree buffs is useful.
Having all three health bar elements means never needing to switch weapons unless ammo runs low, but the Boogeyman should nearly never run out.
Between the kick charger and the boogeyman, it’s as if Moze has ripped the hardpoints straight off Iron Bear. I think you’ll enjoy it.
Oh boy!
I really like that concept!
Here is what I have been playing around with the infernal Wish, Lunacy and a Blast Master no less.
Huge shield and the Lunacy’s penalty on delay have no noticeable effect because the delay is already incredibly short.
I am still totally enamored with Corrosive Rail Guns so I spend the points to get there with 5/5 in Vladof ingenuity Which gives me another 30% shield size along with the 40% “Turtle” perk on the Infernal Wish itself
I get close to a 200 K shield and find that the fire damage to it because of the way the shield works is incredibly minimal….it doesn’t seem to faze it much.
And Vampyr, CMTs Russian Offensive and switch to a Crit will keep me going health wise if the shield ever truly goes down.
Your way sounds more powerful but this will work methinks if you don’t want to go the bloodletter/ uRad route.
The shield is also a HUGE boon to ammo usage and damage As you can get higher damage than an X2 version of a weapon without sacrificing the additional cost in ammunition and you literally never run dry….even with higher damage smaller Mag sizes.
I need to farm some boogeyman, they seem incredible.
I am also running Infernal Wish uRad, but using sabot rounds and usually fire/cryo guns instead of corrosive guns. Running cryo Hunter Seeker but I am trying to find a Shock one.
One question for you Infernal Wish users: have you tried the the Slow Hand? I am thinking about farming at least a fire one to run with an Elemental Projetor.
Damage wise, it’s probably a close run thing. I’m aiming to max fire rate, so no I’m spending no points in drowning in brass. That stops me from getting to sabot rounds and lets me pick up the fire rate boosts in the purple tree.
The way I figure it, uRad applies to all damage, so when using infernal wish, one gets 300% damage from uRad on gun damage instead of the usual 150, it’s noticeable for sure.
Yes, and it’s pretty good but there are probably better options. Although I’m struggling to find a shotgun worth using. Flakker could be good, but pretty dangerous to use.
After reading the above i’ll offer my results -
Im a moze only player, and totally in love with the shredifier. I know this isnt a Jakobs gun, but i really wanted this gun to work on moze and have spent many months MAKING it work.
The key to it was a mindsweeper com (to create splash grenades) paired with short fuze (to create splash explosions) and a bipod’ed shredifier.
What created the amazing damage however, was NOT stacking splash or aoe damage. I played with hundreds of combinations and in the end, i now run a mindsweeper with 24% crit damage, 40% ar dmg and ?? accuracy. My vladof artifact has 40% gun damage, 40% crit damage and mag size. This shredifier is cryo. My build is mostly skag den and bottomless mags, but short fuse bolsters this.
My point is, i can obliterate things REALLY quickly by sheer amount of crit hits spawning nades.
I tried the clairvoyance with the exact same setup, and got SIMILIAR results, but slower. I believe that moze can use non splash guns with mindsweeper as long as you can get the accuracy and rate of fire up.
The torgue Critical thug gun works well with this too. I honestly cannot get the same damage numbers using blast master and splash boosts, and ive no idea why. I presume the dmg calculation is multiplying some and adding others, so splash and aoe boosts dont seem as high as crit numbers producing mindsweeper nades.
Today will mostly be testing Jakobs guns with Mindsweeper and Green monster. I have had some success with a Headsplosion sniper rifle (300/90), Blast master (aoe radius, sniper dmg) and a purple artifact (splash, sniperdmg). One shot kills on most enemies, the radius of the blast damaging others. I presume in this case the bullet damage is so high, that the ensuing crit / splash blast is multiplying heavily.
Is it possible that jakobs guns rely so heavily on gun and crit damage, that unless you find artifacts and mods to boost those alone, Moze cannot get the dmg up? Or is it that moze already does so much fire and splash damage, that we are wasting our time boosting those via artifacts?
Same here, as I am trying something other than the Trevonator. I thought about the Slow Hand because It is a Moxxi so can sustain the shield through the Bloodletter even on fire and has splash, unlike the Heart Breaker. I have two Flakkers, but neither with uRad or 300v2, but it should be good with Rushin’ Offensive
As a fellow Shredifier + Mind Sweeper COM player, I might not even care if this works at MM11; watching those grenandes cascade off some enemy in a constant shower is wonderful.
How is everyone using the Infernal Wish? Like it’s good, but once I catch on fire (much less take any damage), the extra pellet effect stops, no? Like I can’t get sustained damage output with it. Am I missing something?
URad insider maybe? With a big mag?
Jumps like a Mexican Jumping Bean but it DOES put out the hurt.
On Moze….it’s just wonderful if you learn to control it a bit…
And here is something we need to track down…
Flipper with Internal wish…it’s a one pellet gun that changes to nine shots per round as you fire it
I “think” it’s actually getting 18 shots per round at max fire but the bullets are so piled on top of each other it’s hard to tell. The effect stacks the second shot directly behind the 1st…they are virtually on top of each other.
I just discovered this last night as I went to bed. So I didn’t really have time to test. But when I fired corrosive flipper against Wotan…the things armored bar just disappeared.
It may have been hit simultaneously by a corrosive sabot from IC…don’t know
No, the flipper does not get double the projectiles, it only gets 1 more. So instead of 9 it gets 10.
So on ramp up it should get 2-4-6-8-10?
I’m just not seeing that but it is damned hard to tell because the second shot is piled almost directly on top the first shot.
I need to get into the photo editor and try to really take a look.
Because what I think I’m seeing is the nine shot ramp up with a second shot almost on top of each of the nine.
I could be wrong though because it’s really hard to tell. At least for me.
Looked into that recently and yeah that’s exactly what it does with Infernal Wish.
