I know most of these problems have been addressed, but until the devs state that they are fully aware, and are taking steps towards fixing them, I will continue to complain.
Optimization: From what I’ve heard and felt, the game still runs at 30fps on the average system. My rig is fairly good, yet I’m fairly certain I’m getting sub-60. Which is a problem that should have been prioritized between the beta and the release. I don’t know how long optimization takes, but for god sakes, fix this.
‘Color Riot’: On average, the amount of effects on screen can almost entirely block out your view. This is especially bad for melee characters, which I tend to play, and is maddening when I lose sight of someone when unicorn in the screen vomits on my face. TB said it best when he said that their should be a setting that tones down the effects.
Collision: Currently, it feels like large heroes just have a box encasing them. This is particularly bad in narrower corridors, such as those on Temple. A better collision system would be like a soft collision, where you can push into another hero, but you are pushed out when you let go.
Certain Helix choices: Currently, some choices are objectively better than others. Like Galilea’s where she can choose between speeding herself up or slowing enemies with Desecrate. Take a guess which one is better? Some tuning on this would be greeaaaaat.
Now, on to some other suggestions that fall under ‘neutral’, things that don’t need to be fixed, but added.
Regular Patches: Having a date by which a patch will happen is a good way to have a schedule by which players can rely on.
Demo: My idea of a demo would be one allotted hour of time, by which you have access to everything. After that hour, you will be informed that after your current session, you will be booted.
That’s all I got for now.
