How many matches have you lost just because some of your team were only playing to complete lore rather than to play the match?
I don’t remember any. Now, how many have I won because their Galilea fed trying to kill me? About 8.

Lol, I’ve done this myself. It’s unfortunate to be sure. The one I really went to work on was the Kelvin one. The PvP lie stuff should be less of an issue now since they are far more reasonable.
Less than I would have thought actually - I still play towards the objectives whilst trying to do my lores. My PVP loses come primarily from being on the receiving end (which happens 8-9/10 times with matchmaking) of a steamroll/5man premade.
The only time I generally neglected my team for some lore hunting is when I did Pendles 20 kills with is ultimate - that lore in of itself seems to set itself up for leaving your team and waiting to strike on a low health enemy.
I remember once making my team NOT kill anybody at all so I could get first blood for Ghalt’s lore. Luckily it turned out good, one person died shortly after I got the kill due to my need, but in the end we won easily enough.
PvP lore is annoying but shouldn’t cause you to lose unless whoever is doing PvP lore is being REALLY REALLY reckless (like those people trying to get those Ambra Kills or even Pendles with those Miasma kills).
Galilea trying to get Ambra is by far the most common sight when it comes to PVP lore mishaps…so many dead Galileas.

Toby’s double kill with the ult is probably the worst one right now (even after the nerfed requirements). It’s just annoying .
I don’t think I’ve ever seen it happen with somebody on my team, but that could just be because I can’t keep track of what my team is doing as easily as the enemy team. I’ve DEFINITELY seen it happen to the enemy team. There have been plenty of matches where I’ve been OM and had the enemy team’s WF do nothing but try (and typically fail, because WF is awful) to kill me, and the other day I picked Ambra to help a friend with lore and got matched against an enemy team with both an Alanai AND a Galilea who did nothing but relentlessly chase me trying to kill me. They ended up getting a grand total of ONE kill and 1X or more deaths each because they got tunnel vision whenever they saw me and did nothing but charge head first.
Apparently though all you need to do is kill one person, then fire off his ult and get a double kill, not kill two people with his ult, making this challenge a whole lot eaiser. (I haven’t tried it yet)
On topic: I’ve actually had a few matches WAAAAYYY back when this game started, where Gals would leave my team (or the opposing team) if there wasn’t an Ambra in the match. I’ve never seen a Whiskey leave matches over Oscar, but most of my leavers have been Gals, or like Boldur/Benedict when they didn’t get a team of Eldrid/Peacekeepers.
Go into capture yea wait out the horrendous que time and you will get it easily… 1. It’s mostly scrubs that play capture 2. On outback there’s no way back into spawn (unless you can fly or teleport) so people often stay in the fight with practically no health… 3. Two to three people constantly pile up on top of eachother on pads. 4. Way more team fights meaning more often there’s multiple people low…
Yeah, I think this is exactly where pendles is supposed to be though. He’s a hit and run type person only capitalizing on near dead enemies. I’ve literally never encountered a pendles that took me down from full health. Ever. So you really aren’t leaving anyone high and dry.
