Dumb question:

I just picked up the digital edition of the game on XBOX One last night, and i was looking at the instal files. BL2 was around 24 gigs, TPS was about 14 gigs. It is my understanding that there was a very large update when the game first came out, and a possible 2nd large update.

I have not been prompted to update the game, and now I’m wondering why.

Side note: what’s with the “dlc required” message when loading an OP character?

it usually updates as part of the install. have no idea about the error.

I play BL2 on Xbox 360 not Xbox One (don’t have an XB1 yet), but is there somewhere on the Xbox One to check that Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode Upgrade Pack 2 (for BL2) is actually installed? Is the game actually preventing you from loading a character with OP levels, or is it just a weird message that pops up? That error message would at least seem to indicate it isn’t installed or is somehow corrupt and the game can’t see it (if it prevents you from loading a character with OP levels).

The “missing DLC” error when loading an OP character is, in fact, an error. It means nothing, and has absolutely no bearing on gameplay. You are not missing any DLC.

^ This was my best guess. No problem acutally loading the characters, just found it weird that messege would pop up every time.
