Ki11er Six and Joltzdude are taking the week off

I’m 66. Doesn’t mean a damn thing but everybody else is throwing out their age so I’m jumping in too :grinning:

Joltz and K6 are good people who have done a lot for the community. But you have to understand that their livelihoods are basically tied to this game so there is a real limit on how much and how often they can point out negative aspects. It’s just plain counterproductive for them. So I just don’t expect them to openly criticize …much…in forums and on their channels.

However, they do have greater access to the folks at gearbox who would listen to them. So I’m hoping that they have made it quite clear…privately…that there is a lot of unrest in the community right now concerning Mayhem 2.0.

In fact, to be honest, if that piece of content had never dropped, the game probably would be in a pretty good place instead of where it is right now.

I hope they can get that system fixed, and soon!!..

John, definitely agree with what you said. I think that, in private, it means that people like Joltz and K6 may actually be EXTREMELY vocal about the problems, and want them fixed ASAP.

Like you said, they are Borderlands content creators. Their livelihoods are attached to the continued success of this game. If everyone is unhappy with the state of the game, they’ll stop playing - and if they stop playing, they’ll probably stop consuming the content. Content creators NEED a happy and engaged community in order to create relevant content.

Hopefully Moxsy/K6/Joltz are all being very vocal about the current state of the game. It’s in their best interest to get things into a better place. As semi-advocates for the community, I hope that that ends up being a good thing.
