No chance in Hellborn.
It’d be nice, but seeing as we haven’t had one since last June, I highly doubt it.

Here I am with no internet connection and GotY, no Krieg voice patch.
Couldn’t imagine him without his raves. His attitude is my favorite thing about him, don’t know how people could dislike it. But really it would’ve made more sense to just give an option to mute rather get rid of them altogether. They spent money on those voice tracks.
I am so jealous of your ranting Krieg. That’s actually upsetting. If his RR rants were still in the game, I would definitely have given Hellborn Krieg a chance instead of going purely melee

It’s all about dat melee for me. After leveling Maya and Zer0, and taking Maya OP8, Kreig was the logical next choice simply because his melee playstyle is so vastly different. But I probably would have copied the save file and made one into a Hellborn if those rants still existed. I’ve heard some sound clippings on YouTube and it would be awesome to hear those as I play. But alas, the motivation is not there unless the rants are.
You could spend the rest of the points after mania into hellborn for a pure melee build aswell you know.
The Jack voice mod is very limited. With or without patch they never put too many lines in there
Does anybody still has a link to some official source as to why the audio triggers were removed/locked? I don’t remember if I ever saw the “too chatty” reasoning outside of other community members’ posts.
It never bothered me since with a melee-focused spec the lines from RR were a welcome break from Krieg’s constant screaming from melee attacks but I understand how people with a gun-based hellborn would get annoyed quickly with krieg chaining the lines together one after the other. It is unfortunate that the devs couldn’t afford a workaround that didn’t affect every scenario.
RR rants should be a new skill on Krieg’s Hellborn tree
like inspire (or inspirational or whatever) on jack’s left tree
