I’m personally for element-locked guns, as long as the chosen element works towards the gun’s aesthetic. Marketer being corrosive is fine because of the whole “virus” thing which doesn’t work as well thematically if it had other elements, while the Fatale being cryo-only doesn’t really make too much sense aside from the red text. One workaround could be simply to add more element-locked guns of different elements to complement said guns, e.g. a fire-themed Dahl pistol to complement the Blowfly but with enough differences such that it doesn’t subtract from the Blowfly’s aesthetic material.

One way to buff the Marketer specifically, however, could be to give it a big corrode damage boost, enough to take down flesh enemies with ease. That way it could both differentiate itself from other Hyperion shotguns (including the CC) while still keeping the virus theme. It could also actually make Venom Bolts worth speccing into.

They do get the damage reduction.

Speccing in Nisha’s skill ‘Unchained’ will give you no stat bonus when increasing it from tier 7 to tier 8. And this is not corrected upon spending more points into the skill, so after tier 7 you will always have 1% less fire rate per stack than you should.

My recommendations for some of the unassigned Drops: Flamey should get the Fire Bee and the Magma, Deadlift should get the Min-Min Lighter and the Kala, the Bosun should get the Shooterang and the Cradle (if it gets improved), Iwajira should get the Flyin’ Maiden and the Viral Marketer, RK5 should get the Sham and the Maggie, Red should get the Badaboom, Corporal Bob should get the Fragnum, Boomer should get the Deadly Bloom and make a respawnable Poopdeck drop the Pandemic.

Note: all these are meant as additional Drops to their already assigned ones.

Note: I think the Cat O’ Nine Tails is already assigned to RK5. Had him drop it three times now of the around 30 times I killed it.
Too unlikely to be three world drops!

make it so only the host can open chests with a unique item such as heartful splooger, morq shield and the cutie killer its annoying when a random pops in just to steal your one time drop. it ruins the experience for people who like to play online to meet people

I would like for gearbox to to look into the fact that maliwan cyro pistols rarely spawn. I only ever found one in the special mission chest where they give you free cyro weapons. Like the quest for that crazy scientist where you collect tork brains and stalker wings for her rocket ship experiments.

I have never even thought of this until you mentioned it… I don’t think I’ve ever had a cryo Maliwan pistol that I can recall. Now every time I play I’ll be making sure I check to see if I see one! Lol…

Yea there was a couple topics awhile back about it. Noone could seem to get a cyro mailwan pistol to drop in the world. Ive put alot of time into the pre sequel and i should of saw one by now. Ive seen every other element but cyro for the mailwan pistols. So im thinking something is bugged.

If it’s only color changes, I’m ok with that. But if the drop rate changes too, then I’m going mad because they’re already hard to find for me.

Try the grinder, they arent that bad to get. Cause you can control what weapon type and rarity you get.

I use the grinder rarely and almost always sell unused gear. Damn me.

I usually find them (and the rest of random legendaries) while farming vending machine so I… don’t use the grinder? lol. I should try it more often.

Yea its a great way to get the gear you want, sometimes time consuming though. Also farming bosses with big loot drops, such iwa , eos, sentinal. Are also good ways to try and find those event weapons.

Here’s one wish I have when it comes to additional tweaking: Make it so stacks of Hard to Kill either decay over time or better yet, are only lost if you do die. Currently there’s little reason for any Wilhelm player to invest in that skill since the way it works means that you’ll never get enough stacks for the damage resistance to be useful nor will you be able to enjoy it.
