Latest patch broke sound

I made it to Promethea on 1 character and the voices from all characters was fine now it sounds like they are at the other end of a tunnel. Even bandits sound like this. This was not like this before and also sounds like gunfire is in a tunnel. I have not changed anything on tv or settings in game. This is a patch bug and needs to be fixed asap or its not worth playing anymore

I don’t believe it’s related to the latest patch. I have noticed this issue intermittently since the game was released. It happens most frequently on Promethea levels, but I have had it happen a few times on Pandora or Eden-6. Most of the time, if you quit and restart the level, the problem goes away for a while. On two occastions, I’ve had to quit out of the game completely to get the sound to come back.

I agree this is annoying.

it’s not that the sound is gone, it’s that nearly every sound in the game except for the music plays with an echo attached to it not only that but the sound is muffled aswell as if you were underwater. i thought that it was my earbuds that broke, but loading up the game without the hotfix sorts out the sound. but when applying the hotfix again it comes back.

For me, some of the sounds drop out completely. Others have weird muffled echos and vibrato, others are just very muted and quiet.

I’ve had sound issues since the game came out. Maybe not the same issue you all are describing.

Not only that but my 100 dollar game is unplayable because BL3 freezes and locks my ps4 slim up.

Yep. This game is technical garbage. Real piece of crap. I don’t know how they tested the game.
And how did she go through quality control? 7 years of development, and it works worse than indie games made on knees in early access.

I deleted the game reinstall game without update and sound works fine.

You could just run the game without hotfix and not delete anything.
