I am learning Irish at around the rate of one word per month. (Most of the intervening time is spent working out how to pronounce it).

I learned lately that solar systems with a single star/sun are a minority in our universe. Most systems appearently have 2 suns (one sooner or later dies) and there are even 8-sun-systems in neighbour galaxies.

I was reading speculation that all systems have 2 Suns at the start, with 1 being ejected or consumed early on (relatively).
What I found funny was that they named our hypothetical 2nd Sun, Nemisis, or a name similar to that. As if our Sun was the inherently good Sun, well maybe our Sun shanked ‘Nemisis’ in a alley and stole his gig

TIL in 2017 a bill passed through the senate to make bestiality a federal crime. It has yet to pass the house, leaving this call up to state and local governments. Bestiality is legal in 9 states.
And now because I know this you have to know it too because nothing helps a bad mood like spreading it around.

I intentionally did not look it up because I’m at work and I want a surprise when internet outrage hits and people scramble to fix it when a case doesn’t get prosecuted.
