Legendary COM ideas & discussion for Moze (Gearbox, please take note)

Moze gains stacks of IB-7274 while she is inside Iron Bear, this stacks increase gun damage, critical damage, splash damage, fire rate and movement speed. The longer she stays the more stacks she gains.

IB-7274 stacks limit: ???
Percentage of each bonus: ???

(This stacks will also affect iron bear and they will remain after she gets out of iron bear for a period of time (25 seconds?))

Skills: Some for the Road, Deadlines, Stainless Steel Bear (like tank gal?)

Skin: Something yellow.

I feel the x% chance to trigger kill skills is an incredibly lazy mechanic, and would rather not see it on any Moze COM. And as others have pointed out, with Phalanx Doctrine, this could get really imbalanced really quickly. Here are some of my ideas

Dealing grenade damage gives Short Fuse a 100% proc chance for 2 seconds

Scorching RPMs

Killing an enemy extends Some for The Road duration by 2s. While Some for the Road is active, gain +50% Fire Rate and Handling

Landing a direct hit with explosive damage, has a chance to turn the spot into a critical spot for a certain time.

Where there isn’t a hole, make one!

I like both of those. Especially the first. Could be a touch overpowered, maybe.

Same thing with your shell idea earlier, it was always on uninterupted shield regen. That’s invincibility, basically. I liked the skill point choices though.

not all hits obviously because the chance can be relatively low

if constant shield regen was invincibility, healthregen would be invincibility too, which it isnt

I think between this how this mod,GM and BM require you to be bullet hosing and how MS and bloodletter work with vampyr they only want her to be a tank that can bullet hose, despite how weak she actually ends up being.
I love alot of those ideas above though.

You said uninterrupted in your first post, which when always on, is invincibility. I don’t think you meant that, but it was how you worded it. I actually quite like the idea.

no, its actually the same thing as life regen, which you can already have when you got life regen on your bloodletter moze. it will constantly regen your shield. but at such a low rate that you can easily be shot down. look, regenerating your shield slower than the enemies degenerating your shield, is not stopping them drom shredding through the shield, your hp and eventually killing you with an overhit

100-50=50+10=60-50=10+10=20-50=dead

Here’s some ideas based on things Moze is missing and actually needs (other than healing).

  1. Lower health = equivalent splash damage (1hp = 1% boost) so like DM but with splash. Applies to IB based on Moze’s health.
  • Desperate Measures
  • Drowning in Brass
  • Click Click

Obvious idea to give moze splash / weapon damage synergy that isn’t Blast Master.


  1. Moze gains 25 to 50% (whatever’s fair) damage for each weapon type (assault rifle, smg, heavy… Etc). No conditions just give me some v2. Also adds a kill skill similar to Victory Rush but all enemies, not just badasses. Kill skill stacks apply to IB.
  • Specialist Bear
  • Stainless Steel Bear
  • Vampyr

Moze has exactly zero ways of boosting v1 and v2 damage types, other VH’s have some sprinkled in their trees.


  1. All damage done by moze or IB gets 50% damage added as cryo splash.
  • Stoke the Embers
  • Experimental Munitions
  • SRPM

Actually useful mod for taking down armour, but also all around great. Fire and cryo and crits.


  1. Moze’s shield and all shield effects are converted to her health bar (counts as both active and depleted). The higher percent her health is she gains up to 50% damage resistance and 50% Fire resistance. The lower percent her health is she gains up to 100% RoF and 100% grenade damage.

Make her stronger if you aren’t going to give her proper health regen?

That makes more sense.
You could get that with a band of Sitorak and a bloodletter though.

Killskill: When killing an enemy, Moze gains a stack uranium rounds. Each stack gives moze guns 50% bonus radioactive damage for 25 seconds. (Iron Bear gets the same) Max stacks: 3

For the third skill im unsure. Maybe experimental munitions, redistribution or something else.

yea, with “not being interrupted” i mean, it doesnt stop and delay when you get shot, it just keeps regenerating

– +22% weapon damage when depleted. +25% max health. Extremely low capacity.

are you sure, you mean this shield? i never used it because its way to small

You’ll be surprised. If you can farm one with the health and shield size boost even better.
It rolls with random extra bonuses too.

You’ll get over 22k shields. Which is heaps cause it starts regen in no time.

the example in the wiki has a 2.7 seconds delay^^
i am currently using a +50% capacity BBB and i am still not satisfied with my 42k^^

You’ve got that guardian rank skill that starts regen immediately? BOS has the best recharge rate in the game. Over 3000 per second.

It probably won’t beat your BBB boosters but it will stay very full. If you have a point in full can of whoop ass you’ll always be full after summoning bear. Plus all that extra HP will boost Bears armour up around 100k.

but its soooo small xD
i can already get 1 shot with my 42k shields xD
the neogenator would do this job with bloodletter
although its a small shield aswell
