Can’t seem to find anything relating to this but I have read that Vow of Vengeance stacks will decay fairly quickly once your not punching things into the ground, so I wanted to know if anybody has any idea on what stacks fade over time for legends and what stacks stay with you until death?
I know that Codex Fragment stacks decay very quickly. I tested it by using an amped Shadowfire Pillar in a private match, then waited for my test dummy’s shield to recharge and attacked again, the stacks had already decayed. I haven’t tested the VoV yet but if it’s anything like other Jennerit gear with conditional melee activation on secondary stats, I’d say the stacks would only last five seconds and I doubt I’m wrong on that account.
Attack speed is a lot harder to test, nobody really seems to know for sure how long stacks from the Vow of Zealous Fury or Stolen Edge of Arcvynorr last. The theory is that VoZF stacks last longer than others, based on the condition of activation, but there’s been no confirmation that I know of from any official sources. SEoA stacks most likely decay at the same rate as CF and VoV stacks.

Ah my bad. I was trying to scour the forum for more relevant info but may have to just redouble my efforts. I know there were a few other ones stacking skill damage on taking health damage(codex fragment)
this is still a huge problem with the game. I don’t think I’ve even seen them address this. There is no indication of “stacks” or “affixes” or cooldowns or anything that tells you how your gear (or you) are performing. You get slowed, but there is nothing that shows how long for. So you keep trying to run away and not be able to jump and that’s stupid.
I think (not sure) that stacks last the same time than the same condition on green items.
3sec : After Taking Damage
5sec : After Melee Hit, After Critical hit, After Reloading, After Sprinting
10sec : After Using Skill
Yeah I was kinda hoping for a more concrete guide of information when posting this but the data all seems… Not precise

I appreciate all the help tho! I might just avoid those types of legends til I feel more confident about knowing when my window of decay is. Vow of vengeance is still plenty usable
