I’m not exactly sure what to think about this now character. I’m not against it. But I don’t think i’m overly excited for it. I will keep my mind open and wait.
as for the B…
Okay so we were going about this wrong. it wasn’t an internal name, it was the actual name. maybe the names in the picture are still internal names, but I think that the B refers to the characters actual release name.
We know it’s 100% the Jennerit character by process of elimination, but other than that, a name could be anything. I looked through the lore and didn’t find anything B - like that quite fit.
Sadly, I don’t think the Jennerit character is Lenore anymore. Lenore doesn’t start with B. 
But! There was a really cool idea somewhere up there about the character being Lenore’s rightful successor or something like that. I said I could live with that at the time and I still hold to that. Just so long as she kicks ass (still think its a she because hair is like Deande’s).
Gearbox, please make her kick all the asses.

To be quite blunt I don’t think this is the B we are looking for. This sister Benniteg is of the same order as Ambra so she probably dose the same kind of stuff. Also Alani may have killed her but it’s late and i don’t want to go through to much lore right now.
I don’t think we will find the right name unless someone can pull some hidden data from the code or something.
@Nemosis327 I also have my doubts it is Benniteg because I would imagine they are required to all wear the same style of clothes to show they are members of the Sisterhood.
Given Rendain’s position as a military commander, I am leaning towards the idea that his type of body augmentations is for members of the military as the final character silhouette shares a lot of similar geometry to Rendain. As much as I really want another badass female character to play with, I have a feeling that Rendain’s look might be how the male upperclass Jennerit like to look, meaning character #5 might be another dude 
The silhouette does have a sort of dress-like/hourglass shape to it, so I’m still hopeful that I am wrong. 
I tried messing with the exposure a bit the other day and to me, the last character is somewhat mutated like Mellka (but to a much further extent). That right arm seems to have a big stinger on the end 
Just because you’re a member of an organization, doesn’t mean you all have to wear the same stuff. It also doesn’t mean there can’t be more than one player character in a single group, look at the Peacekeepers, almost all of them (Except Galilea, that I know of), are part of the same military, possibly the same segment of that military. So why do you say it’s so unlikely that the last BB is Sister Benniteg? Unless you can think of another name that starts with B, and fits in with the Jennerit style, that is as close and accurate as we’re going to get. Besides, the thing on the character’s back in that silhouette looks kind of like Ambra’s headpiece, to me at least. Also, if you look really closely, I think I can see that it has a female face, and a mask pushed up onto her head, maybe I’m just seeing things, but I’m already getting an image of the character in my head. I would’ve preferred to get a Jennerit character first though, since they are my favored faction to play as.
The Jennerit and the Peacekeepers have very different hierarchies. The Peacekeepers have this “band of brothers” type feel to it. Of what I’ve read about Galilea, she has only become a Peacekeeper recently (after certain events on Bliss) so she’s one character that breaks the mold.
But for Jennerit it’s quite different.
- Attikus represents the lesser thralls and is a character that seems to have stepped up into a role that was previously not available for him or his kind
- Caldarius is a foreigner who earned the respect of the people despite being from a lesser race and was imprisoned because of his status as an outsider within the Empire
- Deande is a spymaster, so like a secret agent that goes behind enemy lines and does the more secretive jobs no one else can do above the board, she is also the one who seemed closest to Empress Lenore.
- Rath is a blacksmith and a member of a different order similar to the Sisterhood, placing him quite high up in the food chain (I’m thinking upperclass with large amounts of respect from the people)
- And Ambra as was mentioned was a member of the Sisterhood and I’m guessing a representative at galactic politics / military discussions and general clean freak
All of these characters are from very different places in the Jennerit Empire and the thing that is missing right now is a representative of the military that was Rendain’s pride and joy. To me, doing another character from the same place for the Jennerit, seems to go against how these characters were picked as the devs probably want to show how vast the Jennerit Empire is.
Also reminder, to date, there has not been a single DLC character previously featured in any existing lore.
I don’t play many Peacekeepers, so I wouldn’t really know that much about how they feel.
All true, but I think Rath was a member of the Keepers of the Blade, which, correct me if I’m wrong, weren’t they the equivalent of bodyguards for the Empress?
Well, didn’t the Jennerit mainly use thralls for the military, as Sustainment is quite difficult, meaning there wouldn’t be an army’s worth of sustained? There might’ve been a couple of generals/leaders who were sustained, but it seems certain Thralls were given command over some of their peers. (Supervisor Antem, Thrall Foreman Grall, Jailer Hylis, Warlord Nix, Thrall Shift Supervisor Varl, and others, I’m sure.)
True, but many DLC characters so far have lore featuring other BB, who’s to say they couldn’t be a little cheeky and have given us a hint with Ambra’s lore?
I also zoomed in a ton in paint and tried to accent the features I saw in the image you posted, sorry if it’s not the best, I did all I could with the vagueness of it all. Hopefully I didn’t completely ruin the image for anyone.
@cat590 Your paint skills are badass, though I would still pick @MentalMars’s version any day (he’s obviously seen what he/she looks like!!) 
I do believe part of their job would be serving the Empress, most “nobles” would see all that they do as serving their ruler in some way (except Ambra, she’s in it for herself).

First and foremost, it looks like his primary role as a Keeper of the Blade is to make badass weapons for the Empire…Plus a few on the side for himself 
I recall it being more about controlling who got sustained as it meant they would become immortal and live forever. Vampires like to choose who they keep company with for the next 20000 years. My impression was that Lenore herself was keeping the rite of sustainment a trade secret so that when she got banished to the void, no one else could get sustained because the keys to the car were lost. That’s me reading between the lore mind

Thanks for the paint compliment, but it was the second or third time I used it, to be honest.
Also, if she was being extremely frugal with the Rite of Sustainment, then she didn’t do that well of a job. There’s Deande, Ambra, Benniteg, Rath, the other Keepers of the Blade, Rendain, Lenore herself, any future sustained Jennerit released, Caldarius, Spymistress Jovani, not to mention other Jennerit elite who are no doubt sustained, so I’m pretty sure someone has an inkling on how to do the Rite.
Sorry, my impression of Ambra is based on what I’ve read in her Lore and callouts she has made while playing as her. It isn’t stated anywhere, but implied considering her personality and blatant use of official channels to complain about rather trivial matters that she herself sees as a big deal. Like a rich person that uses their status to do what they want. I mean that letter from Lenore to Benniteg reads to me like Ambra was a bit of a teenage troublemaker that got sent to “nun school” to be taught how to behave. It was also meant as slight jab at her because she’s one of my favourite Jennerit characters because of how I interpret her character. 
As for sustainment, I meant in that she was only allowing who she herself deemed worthy of the rite of sustainment. I think it was mentioned that she would have had to approve all of those people before they could be sustained and to have that sort of sway to me indicates she had control over the process otherwise her reign probably would have ended much sooner than it did. She did apparently invent the process of sustainment after all.

@cat590 I’ve been reading up on Lore for another project I’ve started working on and it looks like Caldarius was Sustained AFTER Lenore was sent to the Veil and Redain took over. This means either Lenore didn’t have as much control over the process as I thought, or that Rendain figured it out and stole the key from her before he sent her away. I’m still reading, but it seems like Rendain was pissed about getting pushed into a corner as Caldarius had the people backing him up and so he decided to lock him up for 100+ years (probably forever) as punishment. He then probably banned the right of Sustainment so no other person could do what Caldarius did.
Well, she has that personality in her lore because she was sending messages to Ghalt, a non-Jennerit person. Her callouts are just to emphasize her ‘matronly, abrupt nature’, as I see them. I didn’t read it as her being a troublemaker while growing up though, more like she was always obsessed with things being clean and ‘in their proper place’.
Well, doesn’t the process of sustainment take up an entire planet’s worth of power? I imagine they didn’t just go around leeching planets and moons of their energy/life whenever someone wanted to live forever. In the few bits where she does mention sustainment however, it doesn’t seem to be made out to be that big of a deal.
I mean, she no doubt had to approve of everyone, since it takes so much power, but it’s not like she was the only person who knows how to do it. Benniteg should have known, as she had inducted Ambra into the Silent Sisters, and had some kind of hand in her sustainment. (Implied through lore, but never stated directly) And going from one of Deande’s lore, either the Spymistress Jovani or Ambra knows how to preform the Rite as well, which would imply that most of the Jennerit who were sustained have some idea on how the whole process works, since most of them are hyper-intelligent scientists or whatever.
It’s not a gigantic, hush hush process that only one person knows how to do, it’s just that it takes so much energy to do that there’s a massive amount of tests and hoops to jump through before you’re even able to be judged worthy/loyal by the Empress.
Doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t happen, though. I don’t think it’ll happen soon, however. They should focus on expanding the universe more, imo (at least with the characters; they should totally spell things out to outside of the game).
