I feel like Alani and Thorn both need some hitbox increases.
I swear I see bullets going right through them and not registering, I don’t even bother trying to headshot either of them I just get them on accident.
I feel bad for Pendle, he’s skinny looking but he’s going to have a big head to hit.

You think Kleese is bad just because he’s big and squishy? What about his kit, his wave clear, his lane control? If you’re going to judge him solely based on how big and squishy he is, you may as well say that Attikus and Toby are bad as well.
Of course not, but a good team utilising Kleese isn’t going to leave him to fend for himself, they’re going to defend him and set up for a late game play. Kleese’s late game influence is second to none, being big and squishy early on doesn’t make him bad, especially considering how powerful his taser is in the early game.

The reason the others are balanced is because of low health pool (orendi) without the ability to reliably gain 400 - 500 hp while dodging back. Also she has multiple initiation or escapes in the form of CC. Her damage does need a reduction though on her auto, given her attack speed and lack of reload to compensate for everything her kit offers.
I’m pretty sure the bulk of your damage was on minion clears so the number is skewed. As far as k/d I’d chalk it up to good team comp. You have teammates who are easy for the enemy to focus on leaving you clear for cc and kills.
The picture “proof” is dumb. Perhaps some players were bad and others good. Heck, I’ll post pictures proving my Oscar Mike is OP. Oh man look at all that sweet sweet damage compared to EVERYONE including Alani. That’s like double OP since she is already Op right? smh

there is exactly control. it is the same 5 players playing the game, and the person using alani rotating. she did the highest overall dmg, highest kd, most kills, most assists, top player score every single game regardless of who played her. it takes who we played against completely out of the equation. they could have been the best in the world, or the worst in the world. we could have won 500 to 0, or lost 0 to 500. The only thing that matters is if alani statistically outperformed every other character the majority of games, and she did outperform every other character in every other category, every single game.
we can make this really, really simple as well. consider this a bit of a personal challenge to help validate some of the information you are putting out in regards to alani. i have posted a screenshot and am willing to post the entire series of games to support my claim. to help strengthen your position and make your position much more credible, would you be willing to post a screenshot of your entire recent games list so we can see that you do not play alani? because if you have been maining her it kind of really invalidates everything you’re saying, and really explains a lot.
you need to read the text that accompanied the picture. i wasnt posting a picture of an alani going off and saying she was overpowered because of that game. please read the rest of the post. that is one picture from a controlled test of 5 players rotating alani, while the other teammates choose their best characters when not playing alani. without exception, whoever played alani had the highest kd, most kills, most assists, and the most overall dmg.
This week’s Battleplan
approx 33% nerf to her health. Not sure if this will be enough.

Seems like a good start, but my issue with her is the damage on torrent. I build attack speed and attack damage on her with max shield secondaries, along with a damage reduction gear piece with cc reduction, and do the most damage in most of my games and still heal upwards of 50k to my team.
I like to jump when I see an enemy riptide about to hit me, because I get launched way up and all the way back to relative safety, generally flying well over any geyser traps that might be there. It’s hilarious, and confusing for some Alani’s.

her problem is she,s super strong by that i mean a perfect combination of all things in a game were most are only masters of one so its either bring her to speed with every one else or bring everyone up i think i know the route their going to go with
His vulnerability out ways his utility imo…Unfortunately I guess this a subject where we cant agree.
…How can you possibly stil complain about alani…They took away her ability to sponge and heal…They have decided to let her be dps as opposed to tanky…whats wrong with that.
This makes no sense…how does no ones skill or who you were facing have no say in control…Its going to be personal experience regardless of how controlled you think it is…Controlling as many parts of it as you can possibly do is nice but there are many things that you cannot that all affect the outcome of the score regardless of if they turned out similar…Your proof is no more solid than me taking a pick of me and my friends swapping out the same character and we all happen to do the worst on the team with alani…That would be proof for you? Because I assure you I can find a group of 5 people whos skill and who they play will affect the outcome to where they will all have ass for stats. Your point is so wildly invalid. Along with anyone else posting random in game pics of her going off I can find an in game pic of her being awful or not outperforming you.

I think he’s saying that if balance had occurred, the player who previously picked Alani would be able to maintain those stats with a different character throughout the 5 games or at least close to it. The 5 players are playing against the same team in a given game, so that fact that Alani excels in each is pointing to her being unbalanced. Player 1 goes 10-0 with Alani, Player 2 goes 4-2 with Phoeobe in game 1, Player 1 goes 4-2 with Boulder, Players 2 goes 10-0 with Alani in Game 2, etc. If this pattern is exhibited in 5 straight games it could def point to imbalance. However, it’s pointless to argue, because the devs have already stated that she is over performing.

You may be surprised but I disagree with the devs regardless of the notion Im sure is common who knows better than them. If they released her average damage output that she put out on spider sentries per game on average Im sure youd see how skewed her output is from it.
As for the point of the example how you explain it is alot more logical and I appreciate it, I will disagree with the sense that it doesnt provide enough concrete proof, It kinda just adds more variables…How good are they with the other characters they played, whats the characters tier rating in a sense (as we all know there are worse characters than others), and again how well they play those characters.
I think lowering her health is a good start. Will have to see though. I disagree with some changes the dev’s make, I.e Ambra nerfs, but in most cases I find I have to defer to their judgment. They have access to way more data than we do.

let me try to put it another way. the players on the team are phenomenal at the characters they pick. each player on the team is unbelievably less familiar with alani than they are the characters they pick when they are not alani. there were mikes picked, there was even an isic picked in the screenshot. whether the skill of the enemy goes up or down does not matter, because we would all take a bump or a hit to our performance based on their skill level. but instead there was one constant: alani outperformed everyone is every measurable way, regardless of who played her.
ironically, even though we did not lose a game that evening, the losing teams all had an alani that often times did more total dmg than our entire team. look at the screenshot again. this was an incursion match that ended like 94-0 or something. But even in that smoking, the other team’s alani did more total dmg than anyone on our team BUT our alani

Look at all the reasons you left that back up your opinion. It’s going to take me forever to read them all.
(Please use facts to back up your reasoning)

Just to note it here, the mutation on alani’s flood causing it to explode and deal 88 damage per second is pretty amazing.
Her flood can heal, damage, and CC… really the rest of her kit is pretty mediocre. Her self healing is dimished in reality and I think is sort of the point of a battle-healer. The damage reduction on her self healing however is amazing. I danced in front of a phoebe and oscar mike both on me today…
She now has a lower healthpool, now just to fix the damage on her flood and the reduction amount on her heal and then I’d say she’s balanced. Without those 2 things she would seem relatively reasonable to me.
Things like her stun (which does close to 0 damage unless you spam it into a crowd and let it multiply up) which are easy to see skillshots and her ultimate (which has no reason for you to stand in it) don’t really bother me at all. Also… I get sad watching all of my allies run away for me with their LAND LEGS. IMMA FISH! Let me catch up!
