Oh no you shouldnt be giving up at all, i stocked up on a few RRs myself because I loved using it in BL2. Just dont be disappointed if you get the perfect one and it performs poorly still. Hopefully it will be fixed

hey I just want to say one more thing about damage reduction.
it does NOT stack additivly, it is multiplicative in a really weird way…
I used and testes this on fl4k with a total of 117% damage reduction, and NO; I was not invincible, with all damage reducton combined you get like 70-75% damage reductions, really hard to tell exactly, but sadly there is no ways to become immortal 
maybe I’ll do a thread about it later
Can you check and see if the damage reduction on the shield is actually like in the last game? Because there lets say a gun deals 1000 and RR reduces 30%, damage becomes 700 then reductions apply which if its at a 100% the damage becomes 350. Maybe a formula like that works in this game as well?
well, i use strictly face puncher working on melee only and some action skill cool down works to proc helping hands as much as possible its good, i mean it not Fl4k or anything for dmg. but i love my build and it puts out and its tank as heck and fun to git right in there and git durty.
all this testing surely you must have something.
Still weird when people compare damage to flak, both amara and moze have ridiculous dps builds that are probably better than flak at this point. Though with todays buff flak is also pretty sick if you want to burst something down.
do you know that face puncher and a artifact that gives back ammo when you melee attack actually stack? Its just infinite ammo with those two. And afaik most legendary artifacts can spawn with that bonus. Maybe an interesting idea for a build

ive seen some wild things from fl4k man, even after patches he smashes so hard,
I mean yea, again for some stuff sure. But have you seen amara erase 5 enemies with 1 shot? like even badasses? Or moze just throw grenades and finish most arenas while pretty much immortal? Burst is one thing but these are also pretty disgusting in their own right.
I’m looking for that same rough rider shield also and will trade all my legendary guns for it. It if anyone knows how to do it, I do know how to dupe as well

I have literally tossed this shield, although it was phaseslam not action skill. But i have a brawler ward with same anointment so i just thought why would i need that.
i have an unreal melee build going right now with amara maxing out HP, defense reduction and melee dmg then running around with a life stealing face puncher at 15k hp. i am un-killable.
I have a face puncher anointed for 200% melee after phaseslam I would happily trade for something of use as I didn’t enjoy the melee play with her… with every punch I was saddened by there not being a buzz axe slicing the enemy in half
thats actually the same one im running right now, thanks for letting me know tho! yea the psycho is my fave character that has released in borderlands.
