Just gonna say this that all my fetishes is in the game.

I’m a bird lover, so…

Can you clarify if that’s a fetish for explosions (Mr torgue) or the love of other fetishes exploding (honestly probably also Mr torgue)?

Orendi likes intestines if I remember correctly. And bones once everything has been stripped from them. Maybe even the part where you remove said everything from the bones. I need to listen more closely the next time I am playing her.

Obviously gay.

I’d just like it to be known that this is the best reply to the topic from a GBX official I could ask for. The way you wrote it, you put to rest any of my concerns about “pushing” vs. “including”. Damn, I’m excited for this game.

A post was split to a new topic: Battleborn super cancer

That feels very unfitting for this topic.

I like the idea of some disease but A) agreed unfitting for this topic and B) we’re well before the inevitable heat death universe. We’re unknown void monster apocalypse death of the universe.

Sexual orientation to terminal illness

Not seeing the connection

I kind of see the connection because the dev said there would be LGBT characters to make the character roster more diverse and in response to this, he had an idea that could also potentially make the roster more diverse.

That’s more than a little off-topic. Let’s stay with the thread, people.

hahaha. Everything that could of been said has been said. Everyone is just rehashing the same thing over again.
  other than peoples speculation on which battleborn would be attracted to eachother.:heart_eyes:
Probably Boulder and Attikus…
Definitely.

Let the 'shipping commence!

My two cents! The reason why I think it’s important to have characters in games that are lbgt is the same reason why there should be multi racial characters. Does it matter to the story of borderlands that Roland was black? No. But as a popular form of media it’s important to represent different ethnicities, and I love that gearbox takes this a step further. It gets players who might not have interacted or regularly interact with people different them then to do so in a way. Plus imagine for instance being female bodied but identifieng as a male. It imagine that it would be gratified to play as a character you identify with even if it doesn’t matter to the story. And also, remember Battleborn Is “for every kind of badass!”

Also I only read the first 80 posts or so because it became more about whether or not Janey Springs felt forced. I think she did, but so what. Why are we talking about fetishes now? Having a fetish is not like being homosexual, bi, or transgendered. Sure it may be important to some, but it’s not something as big as sexuality or gender.

(“female-bodied” and “transgendered” are incorrect terms, avoid using them in the future. I can tell you don’t mean any harm by it- just a friendly heads-up from your local trans person. )

Personally don’t see how “transgendered” is a wrong term. “Transsexual” however…
Something I’m missing here?

to be honest every character in the game so far looks very bi or homosexual (I am not complaining, joking or insulting anything or anyone)

which is amazing , the artstyle makes me feel like I am searching some amazing artist’s tumblr works or random OCs on deviantart.
