Just realized that I really like this forum. Is this Discourse? Wondering if I could set something up similar.
Not really relevant to the Homeworld section, but yes this is a Discourse forum. There’s more information on http://www.discourse.org
There’s a lot of requirement for setting up Discourse and I wouldn’t recommend it for a simple forum. It’s the kind of software that only benefits sites expecting massive amount of traffic (ie corporations such as Gearbox and so on): Discourse is certainly not designed for just tiny forums with little traffic expected, you should probably use something like NodeBB or other free software instead.

Hey, thanks for the information! I looked for a general lobby, but there isn’t one, so I posted where I usually am.
NodeBB looks very promising, thank you. I am currently using BBpress which ok, but I’m looking for something better. I guess I just like learning about new options.

No worries. There’s other simple forum software out there like MyBB, phpBB, but they’re more traditional and don’t use heavy amounts of JS like NodeBB uses.

My forum has pretty much no activity. It has become more an archive for my own interests. However, I still enjoy it, weirdly enough. I am running bbpress on wordpress. Easy enough.
