I have played against some good Eldrid. But I have not played an Eldrid nearly as good as I have Deandes, Sharouxs, Galileas and so on. Kelvin? Really? Montana and Phoebe (my mains) both do very well with Kelvin.
I agree Alani is the best healer, and as I have said a lot, the second worst character (behind Beatrix) to face. Thorn is good, but not really “hard as f*ck” to hit.
We need faction wars!
I play a mean Kelvin and I can assure you that he is a great character, the vast majority of people just don’t play him very well. Montana is definitely one of his counter picks but Phoebe is not.
IMO eldrid is the best faction as a whole.
2 great tanks, 2 great healers. Need I say more?

It amazes me how much you love Shayne but I don’t think I’ve ever ONCE seen you spell her name right. 
My loyalties constantly switch back and forth between the Rogues and the LLC. I mean, you’ve got my first main and my best girl Orendi, but then there’s the class and destructive power of the lovely Phoebe. There’s the cool, confident leader in Reyna, who is criminally underrated (and she has personality for days @HandsomeCam) against the hilarious lines and suppressing fire of ISIC.
The Rogues and the LLC probably take up 7 of my top 10 Battleborn characters.
Compared to the other Rogues, Reyna feels bland as hell to me… SORRY!!
She has the best taunt in the game (the Countdown) and some of the best sayings. Come on, team cheer on three! One two MAKE 'EM BLEED INTERNALLY!
Reyna is a lone wolf badass that manages to be charismatic enough to keep some semblance of control over the wildest characters in the Battleborn universe. Now that’s impressive!
The concept and design of the factions are purely up to personal preference. I myself love the Eldrid more so than any other faction.
If I am to rank the factions through this perspective, the order in which I prefer the factions would be;
This doesn’t however show the big gap of my liking between the Eldrid and the rest.
Further discussion with respect to this won’t make someone say something which will persuade another.
As for gameplay, I believe Eldrid will always remain on top or at least 2nd unless they greatly nerf Eldrid characters or greatly buff others. Reason being that besides having some of the strongest characters in the game, the overall balance of roles within the Eldrid is the most balanced. Two tanks, two healers, one sniper and one assassin. 2 melees and 4 ranged. In addition, both tanks and both healers are capable of hard CC.
Another thing to bring into account is that Miko and Alani can reliably heal someone through combat (Reyna as well to some extent) which Ambra and Kid Ultra can’t, meaning that those teams will often lose lane presence as the frontliner will have to go back into a safe spot to get heals.
And the UPR is the worst right off the bat simply because of the fact that they don’t have a proper healer.
While I haven’t explained everything fully (just woke up in a cold room with ice-tips for fingers trying to write on a tablet, thus why I’ll just round it off here), I believe this is the order of the best factions from a gameplay point of view (not preference, but what I think hypothecially allows for the best plays between factions)

It’s just easier, not meant to be proper. Kevin or Kelvin, just ask Beatrix.

It seems like Phoebe is good against Kelvin. She has escapability / ability to follow with phasegate, her attacks are fast and have good reach / damage, she has beastly levels of shields.
I just can’t get behind the Eldrid.
Anyone know an AngryOptic on PS4? Had a Draft tonight against their Deande. Went poorly, but my Montana made it a game (the second best player on my team was my 11 year old’s Marquis).
Phoebe’s not the greatest against Kelvin. All Kelvin really has to do is stun, chomp and then let his team do the rest.

You bet your ballistic bubbles I can tell you stuff! That’s the same guy who was trying to ■■■■ talk ma boi rambo_med before he challenged him to a Deande 1v1 and me and rambo photo shopped this existing image based on my stats to send to him.

What’s most interesting is that this guy is apparently a low level player. I’ve heard his game play is sub par according to rambo and that he thinks himself the best that there ever was for Deande players.
