I got 2 Wilhelm builds which are pretty similar, both CC/D with enough points in HK for Paint, focused on weapon damage rather than pets. My problem is, while normal trash mobbing and some specific bosses (Bosun, RK5) are no problem at all, the tougher fights like the Badass round or the Sentinel can still go both ways, and I’d like to get some advice on how to improve in those fields, or make the 2 Wilhelms more diverse.
I’ve tried sniping with a chronicler COM and points in Escalation, but it’s alot harder to do than with Aurelia and feels quite subpar due to the lack of crowd control. Also, I don’t trust Wolf to do more damage with a capped HK tree than myself with a capped D tree tbh.
And yes, I’ve taken a look at the Master Build list, and yet, I just don’t trust the HK tree beyond Paint for some reason.
Build 1: Laser build
- Shock tediore splitter or maliwan blaster
- Fire or corrosive maliwan splitter
- Cryo Mining Laser
- Bulwark / Blue High-Tech Blaster with +6 Laser Focus, +5 Gun Show
- Longbow Shock Leech / 3DD1.e
Those single point skills like Man & Machine or Targeting scope are for taking advantage should I ever decide to switch in my Celestial COM. I do swap the Blaster com with a Terminator COM for IVF chucking at the raid boss, thus the points in First to Fight. I also swap to a Tesla grenade for boss fights, to break my shield and trigger Emergency Response and Vengeance Cannon.
Build 2: Shotgun build
- Corrosive Bullpup
- NE Badaboom
- Reo / Purple Mauler com with +5 Aux tanks, +4 Emergency response, +4 Running leopard something skill
- Shock Leech / Juggernaut oz kit
Again, single skill points for swapping coms with Terminator and Howitzer. Gunshow is essential to max out IVF mag sizes.
Frankly, the only wiggling room I see would be in Hazmat, it seems to be some sorta 1 point wonder skill, so I can free up the rest to go down HK a little to get some points in Escalation. (whihc doesn’t make that much sense with a splitter laser or shotgun build though).
