Do these require multiple players then? I’ve heard about them but to my knowledge have had none in my game up to now, and i’ve played exclusively solo.

I can’t confirm it, but from what I’ve beg reading it does seem to be linked with your friends list. It seems that if soeome kills or gets killed by one of the bounty objectives, you can get the bounty. Again it just what I have found, but I can’t confirm it
