I’m wondering if you guys beat it as a two man squad yet, me an a friend have done it as Fl4k and moze and we got a pretty good strategy on wotan.
I don’t know how he had his moze set up but he recently switched some fire hose build.
I just changed to a maliwan allegiance/elemental projector/tripple elemental ASE build and it’s surprisingly good, and she just swapped to a CCC build and is getting guns suggested by thiccfila on YouTube. We’ll try again either after the 1st or during the break. We’ve also been busy with various unrelated thing.
If y’all got the DLC the new Zane mod will give a nice boost, can basically always have your kill skills active.
The multiple element builds really help teams with damage output, I switch from cryo/rad to cryo/corrosive for bosses. We haven’t done this since green monster hit so now moze can easily play that role.

Yeah I was thinking about doing a rainbow/grenade heal build.
A good healing weapon helped my Fl4k out a lot but I don’t think moze needs that.
Yeah. I think for wotan, I’d have to do a vampyr build (get health from grenades) instead of a big boom blaster build (get shield from taking shield damage), because they destroy shields so fast in that fight
I just had a fight with Wotan on MH3 with only 2 points in Vampyr from my Blast Master and for the most part my healing was fine. I struggled mainly when I eventually ran out of grenades. The Nagata was the grenade I used for it.
If this set up sound improviseds, that’s because it is, I was testing my Deathless set up in Takedown but swapped out against bosses.
I was thinking about keeping the same build and just swapping over to a blast master just like that. I also have a cloning maddening tracker which explodes 20 or so times, so hopefully that would get me the grenades back I need.
Several of Mose’s class mods are quite viable. It’s one of the better characteristics of her vanilla design. It makes it nice that you don’t have to build around a class mod
I had no Means of destruction and relied on my Big Boom Blaster for grenades, welp.
I was actually really impressed by how well the Nagata handled with only 2/5, the lack of travel time on it means I also didn’t have to be wasteful with my grenades in case I needed healing.

She ran a standard CCC/clone build with the DLC class mod. I used your build with the big boom blaster, but dropped the top tier SOR points for autobear and dakka bear. I swear to God it saved my life several times by jumping in that back seat with a fire dot on me. Took us 2 tries…
I will admit that I used the recurrsion for adds, which is still great with ASE buffs despite the nerf to it a couple weeks ago.
But honestly, we didn’t do anything that a 4 person group wouldn’t do and we made it, so I’m stoked!
PS. What the heck is the deal with dropping 200 yellow items and not a single takedown one?
Congrats man. And yeah I’ve had many a maliwan drop where there are 20+ legendaries and none useful let alone one of the Takedown exclusive ones. But now you know y’all can beat him you can do it again 
Exactly. I’m super excited about that. It’s actually a really straightforward fight once you get accustomed to the chaos. I’d say the strikers and hack hounds are the most dangerous
Yeah once you get patterns down it gets easier, you’ll start to go on auto pilot for each stage lol. Hopefully the drops follow for you
