So I participated in the Twitch thing a while back where you had the chance to be picked as one of the viewers and then could take one of the streamers drops as soon as he/she opens a chest for yourself.

I was watching nonstop twitch back then and collected a sh!tton of golden weapons.

The game told me I had 356 days to get the weapons and it seems to be okay that way because I was planning on actually opening the mail and getting the weapons as soon as my main character hits the level cap etc. I kept playing and then eventually some weapons were at 320days left maybe 290 or something cant remember but well it makes sense at least.

Now fast forward and I havent played the game since november 2020 or so and I just opened the mail to see I LOST EVERYTHING. The only thing I have left is 26 crappy weapons that I get for randomly killing NPCs with a specific manufacturers gun.

What happened and how do I get my guns back? Thats basically killing the game for me. Where are they? Are they stored in a savegame or on the server side?

Thats really annoying…

The golden weapons were possibly bumped off your mail stack if you simply played the game enough?

You cycled through them by earning new mail weapons. If you wanted to keep them you should probably have claimed them before you did anything else that involved killing enemies. It is unfortunate but those weapons are gone and probably cannot be brought back.

I had hundreds of them. And the 26 or well lets say 20 of them were BEFORE I got the golden guns.

It would make sense to have lost all the nonsense before the golden ones and to keep the golden ones.
I mean I didnt collect hundreds of guns by playing normally and receiving manufacturer rewards.

And they had the expiration date anyway. Nothing ever changed before. Just now after some patches and me being absent from the game have I lost ONLY the golden ones and nothing else no matter how old that stuff was.

Sorry Paul, but that’s the way “mailed” weapons work. Claim them or they fall off the stack as new ones are added.

Again. You dont understand.

Its not that I had hundreds of weapons that were replaced by others I got.

Its that I got crap before the golden ones.
Then the golden ones.
Then lost all the golden ones. Not some not most but EVERY SINGLE ONE. All of it.
Not 1 golden one is left.

And I have all the crap I had before I even got the first golden weapon still in my mail.

There was no such thing as weapons being replaced by others. Because at one point I had ALL of them for months and it worked fine and the next time I started I lost ALL of them. Not some not most but ALL of them. Every single one is gone.

Yet that did not happen with the “crap” weapons that are even way older than the golden ones.
I still have all of them. Not most not some but ALL again.

In game there is the “mail”. Weapons you get in the mail stay there until the stack of about 25 or so is full. As weapons are added simply by killing things with a particular brand, and the brand sends you a new gun, if the stack is full, the weapon on the bottom drops off. I’m not aware of any other way for you to have weapons gifted to you, or disappear.

Anyway, sorry about the lost items. I’m not familiar with the details of the email system at all, although I was surprised to see that you initially had over 300 days to claim them - ones I’ve had mailed to me by friends had a much shorter expiry date on them. Which makes me wonder if there was an issue with the expiry following a game update or something?

All I can suggest at this point is filing a support ticket. I don’t know if the email contents are stored locally with your profile data (bank contents and GR) or remotely - if the latter, GBX may be able to restore them; if the former, I suspect they’re probably gone.
