Tried the new Deande in PvP and although it wasn’t a very enjoyable experience, I really loved how fluid the new Deande rework is. The attack speed buff and the seamless switch between melee and ranged attacks are such a boon… The knock back removal on her E is probably the best addition imo… I don’t like the AOE helix choice on her burst dash for personal reasons and more often than usual i inadvertently let my targets escape with the knock back rather than finishing them off… Now I can use it as a killing blow like a badass assassin… It feels so satisfying to emerge from the shadows in the burst dash windup stance and land a sick and crisp slash on your target…! Deande is now my second favorite squeeze after Phoebe… BTW, that Caldarius wasn’t DC’d from the beginning… He rage quit after going 1/16/0… don’t why his score got reset…

Same, she’s my fav after Phoebe now. I use the same strategy with both, first minion clear, then get your shields up, then get a triple kill.

She is so much better now than before, and so much fun to play. The only gripe I have is I can no longer have clones forever in PVE, I had a lot of fun doing that… But oh well I can use her now in PVP and do well. I think my first game after the patch was 11-2.

I liked the push back effect. The move was still a kill move, but could be used as a support tactic to help teammates both with the weaken and creating distance between them and the enemy. Also the combination of a push back and simultaneously cloaking out after actually created disorientation, confusion for the enemy. This no longer exists. But I agree, she feels better, smoother overall.

Yes there were some use of the knokback like pushing a player out of a perch… but so many times instead of killing them or help your mates… it was saving the enemy.

But in general it’s a lot better without it, if you use the burst with calculate risk when in stealth it deals so much damage that a simple melee combo is often enough to finish the player (except for tank ofc)

I’m just glad they changed the transitioning between melee and ranged attacks. Needing to pull off a perfect three hit ranged combo and then wait close to a second to start melee was a pain.

Yeah, after playing around with it, I found out she transitions to only the last two hits of her ranged combo, but can only transition smoothly after the first two melee hits.

She was one of my favorites before the patch too, and even more fun now. Pre-patch I used her more of a “support harasser” if that makes sense. I actually liked the knock back on burst dash. I would use it too knock people camping the perch, or save a teammate from other melee players. But all in all I like the new Deande more, a lot more!

yeah, she was a nice disruptor prior to the rework with the knock back… now she better fits the assassin role…
