LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line:3544]

Hello,

I recently started Borderlands 3 and it went well the first 30-40 hours but now I get “LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line:3544]” at seemingly random times.
I searched online and on this forum but I could not find anyone else having this exact error code.

Does anyone know any fixes? I’m not very technical but I did manage to use the “Verify integrity of game files…” on Steam and that helped the first time! But then the error came back a few days later.

I read about a similar error code and you had to go into some files and delete them… But I could not find the files they where referring to.

I don’t know if it’s needed but here are my Computer specs:
Intel core i5 2500
DDR3 16 gig memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB
ASUSTeK Computer INC: P8Z68-V PRO GEN 3 motherboard.

I read about a similar error code and you had to go into some files and delete them… But I could not find the files they where referring to.

My guess is it’s referring to the local App Data cache?

DRIVE\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Borderlands 3

I know that fixes some crashing issues. Unfortunately, ‘LowLevelFatalError’ is a pretty generic error message and not terribly helpful unless you are one of the developers - it’s kind of a catch-all ‘something has gone wrong’ message. I get the impression it’s mostly the result of memory and/or file corruption issues.
