No Steam? How do they get mods?
Will mods even work?
What about Linux, though?
Aspyr did the port (though oddly my understanding is the data files are completely untouched vs our own Steam PC builds)…
There is zero planning (as they plainly state on their site) for a Linux port.
Never say never and such - but right now, certainly, no.
That is interesting. 
But it wouldn’t have been Aspyr’s decision to not port to Linux. It’d have been Gearbox’s… which is why I’m asking you - to express an interest! SteamOS is here, and Steam Machines are coming soon. I’m surprised Gearbox opted to commission just a Mac port and not Linux at the same time.
Eh, you are making some very unsafe assumptions. I dunno if saying we ‘commissioned’ a port is close to reality in this case. Regardless, it’d be Aspyr, and they aren’t planning to do one.
So… How do they access mods from Steam workshop?
