Just got what I think will be my last batch in today. In fact I may finalize the decklist tonight (or at least a 1.0 version of it) since it seems pretty quiet round these parts and I’ll be sober.
This batch included-
Adding the artifact lands was a big debate since “exile/destroy all artifacts” is pretty common in EDH. My main selling point on it was that the combo with
was too good to pass up. Free land every turn seems nice.
The rest of it is… interesting. I’m really going to have to try to balance a few diferent playstyles. I’m set up reasonably well for a control boardstate with my game winner being comboing into time sieve or just out resourcing my opponents with unwinding clock/panharmonicon/paradox engine or mechanized production.
I’m trying to not overcommit to one win con too much or one recovery option too much, but that fequently ends in a “jack of all trades” scenario which usually results in a lot of game losses.

I understand Arson, more than most. 
Some nice cards with good play potential.

Finalized the decklist 1.0 last night. I’m not sure that I’m entirely happy with it. Managed to keep I think 5 of my 8 original board wipes, but lost out on some fun stuff I really wanted in like Second Sunrise and the greater part of myrball strategy.
That being said, I think the deck is solid. I know some playgroups who won’t like the win conditions because they aren’t “interactive” but I have a shitload of things that help me pick my draws and get my robutts on the board and breakneck speed. I may post the list here later today, or maybe not.

Got it done, although my deckbox is super off now that I’ve readded a bunch of stuff that I don’t recall.
I don’t know how to feel about it on this first run. I’ve got a lot of solid value pieces in there, and enough fun that should (should) enable me to blaze through the deck fairly quickly and ensure I have what I need at any given time. That being said I have very limited win conditions, and none of them play super well into each other. Still, I’ve put about every combo enabler I can think of into it, so we’ll see how it plays this week.

My big thing is looking at the list, I have some scenarios that I’d never even considered. A (hilarious) win con I just thought of-
Kicked rite of replication targeting magister sphinx with cabal paladin out.

I have so many enabler things in there that I think I’m going to have to get the board state right to find them all, but there are great arguments for swapping out different things for a better edge, so I’m going to have to play it to see how things go.
Edit: Bah. Can’t kill everyone with it. Paladin triggers on cast. Still, five artifacts away from a win seems fun.
Edit Edit: It’s rare that I think of themes in my decks more than anything else, but this hit a node with me for some reason. I have this weird image in my head of the triplets running an anti-weatherlight ship with a bunch of unruly planar stowaways. “Assemble the engine and man the guns” they say whenever anyone complains. “The matrix will handle itself when the time comes.”
Edit edit edit: I don’t know how it took this long, but I just realized I can use Raff to flash in triplets during someone elses turn and got a little erect.

It’s been slow on this end, I haven’t picked up any cards in a while.
But that doesn’t mean other things haven’t been purchased. There is the less glamorous but essential side of the hobby that always needs to be attended to, supplies. The latest is a shipment of 4000 card sleeves that came in recently. I’ve used a couple hundred so far.

In other news Sen Trips had a lackluster debut. Not because the deck underperformed - if anything, I devastated board state with Magister Sphinx and Prototype Portals + Phyrexian Metamorph combo and escalated things quickly. The group wasn’t… great though. We had one of the “newer” groups running baby liliana and another guy I’ve seen a few times running a really neat Marizek deck.
The Lili player though… just very loud, inexperienced, and kind of blind to the way board state was shaping around him. Every time I’ve played him he’s got underworld dreams out and been super jacked about it. Worse, he’s one of the magic players who doesn’t… doesn’t prioritize showering before matches.
Kind of dampened the experience and me and Marizek player left after he won the first match. Which was good for the shopkeep at least - he had some stuff to do and had to leave at closing time tonight, so whatevs.
Still!
Triplets did their job. Was proud of the robo trio.
