War Dragoon
From the mountains comes the thunder!

The War Dragoon is a legendary Jakobs revolver with an all blue finish, black grips, and pulsing blue cylinder. The War Dragoon has a decent fire rate but it is nowhere near as fast as many revolvers but it fires faster than the Unforgiven or Rex do. In addition to the fire rate the War Dragon also always sports a six rounder cylinder in addition to always spawing with a Jakobs barrel.

When equipped the War Dragoon is for the most part, besides its unique color, average compared to other Jakobs revolvers and can even be surpassed by a good quality purple revolver. That is of course if the user’s shields are full.

While equipped the War Dragoon gains electrical damage as the user’s shield drops and this becomes more and more obvious as the revolver starts to begin crackling with electricity and even shaking within the user’s hands. With only a smidge of their shield missing the user will notice the War Dragon will become an elemental weapon with decent damage but as their shield falls it becomes a whole new beast altogether.

When the shield is fully depleted the revolver erupts in a nova of thunder before bearing a similar coloration to a Badass Skag complete with a light blue color scheme, electric sparks jumping all over its surface, and the steady hum of electricity. Shot fired explode upon impact for tremendous electrical damage by this point to deal absurdly high damage, heavy splash, and having very high recoil.

The damage buff will vanish entirely if the user’s shield fully recharges.

The War Dragoon’s name is something I made up but gained inspiration from the Colt Dragoon revolver that was used from the Mexican-American War up to and including the Civil War.

The red text I just made up.

The Boomstick

Man: Jakobs
Type: Shotfun
Elem: NONE
*Mandatory parts: Jakobs gun with Jakobs double barrel and Jakobs stock
*Unique appearance: Color/texture scheme similar to the Skullmasher; end of barrel and stock have sawed-off texture appearance.
Red Text: Good, bad- I’m the guy with the gun.

Typical Jakobs Coach Gun. Mandatory 2-round capacity. HOWEVER, consumes 1 round per shot (still produces Jakobs gun/barrel number of pellets). Otherwise consistent with purple Jakobs Coach Gun shotguns for stats.

Bronco
Wild, untamed, and dangerous.

The Bronco is a legendary Jakobs ‘assault rifle’ (if such a term can be used for the hefty beast) that only has a magazine capacity of four bullets at the most, has a very sluggish reload time, absurdly high accuracy, and kicks like, well, a bucking bronco.

The Bronco’s metal construction is gold in coloration while the woodwork is burgundy in color. In addition to the rifle’s color scheme there is a black horseshoe indented above the magazine with several pieces of leather tightly wrapped around the Jakobs barrel. The Bronco cannot spawn with any extra parts such as a bayonet, foregrip for balance, or anything really. The rifle also cannot spawn with a scope but has a significant amount of zoom when using the iron sights; a trait it shares with the Buffalo.

While the Bronco cannot spawn with any extra hardware the Bronco hits harder than the Buffalo and even more so than the Elephant Gun. The power however comes at the cost of the user literally being knocked off their feet as the recoil is very similar to being struck by a psycho or raging goliath. If used recklessly the user can very well throw themselves off a ledge or into some other hazard. The crosshairs also spread twice as far as the Elephant Gun when fired making follow up shots impossible for a few seconds if a Jakobs Allegiance relic is not equipped with the appropriate buffs.

The Bronco’s name, red text, and how it handles is one giant reference to the difficult to control horses that are often called broncos.

Do you have any weapons in particular in mind for this? Bandit assault rifles, for example?

Not specifically. Though it would be interesting to see for pretty much every wespon type. Imagine launchers becoming high powered bullet hoses, shotguns becoming precision weapons.

I think it would be interesting to see the havok it causes with weapon gimmicks, and would give players an interesting challenge to adapt to.

Skills and COMs would behave normally, so it would offset some of the havok.

Pyrocorruptor

Element: Corrosive

Manufacturer: Bandit

Rarity: Legendary

Flavor Text:
Pyro Pete’s personal boomstick.

Stats: Average pellet count and range, large magazine size, high damage, faster-than-normal reload speed.

Abilities:
Always spawns with a Hyperion barrel and Tediore stock. Spread is incredibly small, and every bullet fired deals both fire and corrosive damage. Each time you fire has a 30% chance of shooting 3 Splatgun shots instead of shotgun rounds for the cost of 1 bullet.

Appearance: Rusted silver, blood spatter on the front. Vault symbol on the front of the magazine.

Axecutioner
You like axes, no?

The Axecutioner is a legendary bandit e-tech ‘shotgun’ that fires buzzaxes in a similar manner as the swordplosion fires its swords with some noticeable differences. The axes fired travel faster and have less of an arc, being similar to that of the Infection in terms of velocity and trajectory. The projectiles also are capable of piercing through multiple targets with any enemy struck having their movement speed reduced significantly (ex: scavengers will move as slow as brutes or loaders when struck) with the shotgun always spawning as incendiary. If an axe scores a critical hit the target will always flinch from the blow, though certain enemies are unaffected by this trait such as raid bosses and most bosses. Upon hitting the ground the axes will remain there for two seconds before detonating, dealing a considerable amount of fire damage to any nearby enemies.

The Axeplosion has an absurdly large magazine, even for Bandit weaponry, and only uses one shotgun shell per trigger pull, making the weapon very efficient in ammunition consumption for the amount of damage it can do.

In terms of appearance the Axecutioner has a rust coloration with a psycho’s face mask painted on the side and above the large magazine with a buzzaxe painted in red on the forward most ‘fin’ that is on top of the e-tech barrel.

The Axecutioner’s name is just something I pulled out of my rear but the red text is a slight variation of Zul’jin’s question in Heroes of the Storm ‘You want axe?’

Dude, what’s with your (and only your) post? I’m on mobile and can’t see damn, like the background took prio and obscured your words.

That would he the text color he chose (grey) clashing with the grey background of this category.

I kinda guessed, but still…

For what it’s worth, it dosnt look like that on desktop view. Text boxes have a nice black foreground that fades into the grey background. It should be like that on mobile too…

I’d suggest maybe change the background, but that’s just a suggestion versus something drastic.

Maybe background images as a preference setting?

It’s written in grey ^^
I’m gonna change that now, thanks for telling me

(shakes fist) “Damn you, Salazar text ninja!”
